Its not all that often I go for a 100% on games anymore. Obviously, I only put this effort into game I enjoy, but there has to be a combination of other factors too for it to actually happen. One, the game has to have a high replay value. Almost all games require more than one time through to get everything. Two... NO COLLECTION QUESTS! God I hate those! Three, I have to have the time to do it.

The stars were aligned for Dynasty Warriors 6: Empires. With the help of my brothers, trading off as 2nd player, we beat the game on Chaos mode and unlocked every single custom item and bonus. It took over 30 hours, but that isn't nearly as long as Mass Effect, or other titles that I'll never 100%. The sad thing is that I still want to play it, but now don't have any unlockables pushing me forward. I guess its time to start waiting on DW7:Empires.

Sweet, congrats man, though I know how you feel about collection quests, they can be a pain.

Nothing wrong with replaying a game you like. Enjoy it for the game, not the bonuses! I don't often get the urge to play a game more than once, but I've played Carckdown twice, and I rckon I might play it again before the second one comes out.

Congrats! Getting 100% on any game is always a great achievement!

Well, congrats on 100%ing this one.
I've only 100%ed a few games, I think. On my way to another.

If you do really enjoy the game, replaying on a new save is always an option. 30 hours, that does seem short. For a game that is role play or at least similar to it, 30 hrs is on the short end for me. I've put 45 hours into DS games to near 100% them. But I've put 25 into others to do the same...

And near 60hrs into a fighter game.

Really enjoying that DW stuff huh? I probably wouldn't even be able to finish it once.

@mitu123

Its always on RPGs too. When my characters are so strong that I could kill anything without effort, they should just give me the achievements. In this game you only had to fight people to unlock stuff, not search every dark corner. I'm much better at fighting.

@bacchus2

Theres nothing wrong with it, except I have other games that I haven't beaten at all and really want to play. I have Ninja Blade and Fight Night R3 to finish. I also have Overlord 2 and Samurai Warriors that I borrowed from my brother (he buys a lot of games).

@Pierst179

Thanks.

@its Tolkien_time

I didn't actually check the time, it is probably more. It also helps that I had a 2nd player almost the entire time. I appreciate that this title was straight forward. So many games you have to go out of your way to discover how to unlock items, this one, you just complete the game a lot and on the harder difficulties.

@pigfish2

Its helps to go at it co-op.

@NeonNinja

Nope you couldn't. Your X button skills are lacking.
