Panic time . It's holiday times for me and disaster struck !! My television gave up , at least, it has problems . All out of nothing a vertical green stripe across the screen appeared . I have a Panasonic Viera TH42 and something . It was only two years old and never caused any problems before ! My local store took the tele back and gave me a substitute...without a HDMI interface !! Since my PS3 functions as a DVD, blu-ray and video games tool I am unable to use it anymore . What's more, I don't have the stuff to connect it via SDTV, and I can't lower myself to do so, either !! It's been two weeks since they've taken it, and I haven't heard anything yet . i searched forums etc. and found out that it is a known problem...that can't be solved at a low cost ...I am exited to see what will come out of this...
In the meantime, all I can do is play a little civilization 4 or Sup Com on my notebook ....
Hi, it's been a long time since I spend some time here on GS. That's because I got married, got another child (nr 3, it's a boy !!) and I bought a house recently . Not much spare time to spend then...
Anyway, the few spare moments I have go towards my playstation 3 lately .I really like Sacred 2 . It's far from being the perfect game, but for some reason, I really like it . reminds me a bit of Dungeon Siege . I also wanted to buy red Alert 3, but I'm afraid I won't like it ...I think RTS is a genre seeing a crisis right now...I hope Starcraft 2 can turn the tide for me . I don't like Resident Evil 5 anymore . Still have to play it one more time to get that fifth platinum trophy, but man, it will be a boring run . Getting all the guns upgraded isn't funny !
does anybody know if Resistance 2 is still being played online ? have to get a kill or 9500 in multiplayer...maybe I'll check out after the Rezie platie .
A little while ago I discovered a perfect intact super nintendo in my parents' cellar, complete with a game or 10 . The thing still works perfectly ! Playing a run of Zelda 3 or Castlevania 4 brings back sweet memories, but Ghouls and ghosts ended in the shelf after a brave 5 minutes ! How did I ever finish this game !! It's too hard !

It's been a while since I've been around at gamespot , so I decided to make a new blog . First of all, I don't have much time lately due to my work . The little spare time left I spend at my PS3 and Nintendo DS . Speaking of it, I really rediscovered the DS . It's actually a beautiful system with lots of hardcore games, something I hate Nintendo for with the Wii !! I've imported Contra4 (I love old school, and Contra has a big heart with me, especially part 3, which I remember playing to the bones with my best mate on hardest difficulty) . Anyway, the big consoles have to share my precious time with the DS . I've also just ordered Chrono Trigger, which I've NEVER played (yeah, shame on me, but that's going to change soon now) .
On to the big boys now, I've yet to buy Gears 2 and Fable 2 , but I have hands short with Dead Space, farcry2, Resistance2 and Wipeout HD . Man, Gamespot is so wrong with Wipeout . 7,5 ? Must be a joke, right !! I adore the game ! Zone is one of the most addictive game modes I've ever played in a race game . My record is 69 now, so the 75 trophy is coming soon...
