I don't care about disagree by other users. I respect Scorsese but this is his worst work (altough I haven't seen The Aviator), the plot is boring and pass from a scene to the next without continuity, the reactions of the characters are without sense, the scenography seems like 'false'. Di Caprio has given us better interpretations (Catch me if you can, Romeo + Juliet and the recent Blood Diamond) and he's proud of this film! Why?
I understand why Scorsese and this film haven't won the Oscar, no-one sane would give to this film a prize, what I can't understand it's why it was nomined. Don't let yourself be tricked by spot, don't watch this film. Or watch it if you want a reason to suicide.
