Well, I'm back from my little road trip to Nashville, TN. That sure was a LONG drive down there. Although, I must say I had fun. It was pretty scenic too, tons of mountains and farms. The drive took about 14 hours and we went through Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Kentucky, and of course Tennessee.

We got there at about 6:30pm and decided to just check in and chill. The tournament was being held the next morning in the convention center inside the Gaylord Opryland Hotel. Btw, that hotel was GORGEOUS!!!

There was two indoor gardens, with shops and restaurants mixed in. They had waterfalls, rivers, pools, an arcade, a night club, basically everything you can think of. I was gasping the whole time while walking around, I couldn't believe we were staying there! So, the next morning was the tournament. We woke pretty early to go check it out. Once again, it was a random choosing. And guess what! Francisco was picked! I was so happy.. after all that driving and waiting, he finally had a chance to play.

I wish this story had a happy ending though. It doesn't. Francisco choked on the first round. He got nervous and used a moved that he shouldn't have on the first turn. He was pretty depressed and kept blaming himself on the way back home. Thing is, right now he's feeling ok. That's because this two day vacation was "One of the best vacations I've ever had". Even though he didn't win this year, there's always next year. Time to start training again.

(Gaylord Opryland Hotel is definitely a place you guys should take a look at. It was pretty awesome. I plan on going back later this summer that's how good it was. Yay)

Live and learn. At least he wasn't playing for a spot on the World Series Poker table. Talk about humiliation.

I'm glad you had fun.

Atleast he got picked =) it would have sucked if after all that driving he didnt get atleast that chance. Its unfortunate that he lost but like you and that other person said, theres always next year ^^

You're surprised that it was that nice when you payed 189$ per night? I'm not stingy or anything but thats quite a bit for a hotel room lol, i would have been expecting something kinda nice atleast =o
