I haven't updated in forever because I've spent the better part of the last week feeling horribly sick. Constant headaches, feeling like I'm going to barf, being tired as all hell...all the good stuff. I talked to my aunt the nurse though and I think I've traced it back to the fact that I'm trying to cut down on caffeine......I've gone from about 4-5 caffeinated drinks a day to 1 and let me tell you, caffeine withdrawl is a B!TCH!

It took about a week, but I'm finally feeling better and back to myself. I miss my energy drinks though...

And I'm a coffee addict....I've heard there are things out there though that taste like coffee, have no caffeine, but also have good stuff like anti-oxidants...more like a tea? I will have to do some research on that.

Any else every attempt to cut caffeine consumption? Do you ever stop missing it??

A couple of cute and funny things to end on!

Yeah, tea is a pretty good sub, but it's nowhere near as strong as coffee and energy drinks. Glad you're feeling better. I've cut down on soda a bit, but I've never been sick with withdrawls aside from the tired cravings. Nice lobster pic. It's so true.

Glad you're feeling better. I think your body is just going through withdrawal symptoms.

As for caffeine, I drink tea every day. And if I don't, I get tummy cramps.

Cutting down on the number of cups of coffee per day was no challenge at all. The only thing I have to work on is the size of my cups.

Yeah, cutting out or down on caffeine can do hell to your body. I tried to cut out caffeine once, and wound up getting terrible headaches. I've cut down a lot on caffeine, but at this point am not even going to try to do without.

The only time I regularly consumed coffee was when I attended College. Other than that, I drink it socially when I have brunch with friends. I've managed to avoid the caffeine addiction that most of my office mates have succumbed to... and you should see them when they don't get their coffee. They're like possessed demons.
