There is a difference between who you THINK will win and who you WANT to win.

On my Dancing with the Stars page there is a poll asking who people would like to win. Here are the top four:

Misty May-Treanor 19%
Cody Linkley 18%
Toni Braxton 15%
Maurice Greene 11%

The rest were under 10%. Over 250 people had voted.

Now, I think Misty is probably the favorite. Cody has a big fan base, but will they get sent to bed before they can vote? Toni Braxton is a wonderful singer and a beautiful woman, but can she dance? Maurice's feet are brilliant at going forward very fast, but can they swing around the dance floor?

I was surprised Lance Bass had so few votes. He danced in 'N Sync, and he's fit. He must have a great chance.

Who do I want to win? Cloris Leachman because she's 82! Susan Lucci because she's 62! Warren Sapp because it would be great if he could show that a large man can dance gracefully. Even Kim or Brooke to show that "models" are more than just things to photograph.

Do I care? Nah. I'll enjoy it whoever wins!

I have to say I was very disappointed with the announcement of the cast of season 7 of Dancing with the Stars.

First of all, there was only one surprise - Rocco DiSpirito. All the others had been talked about and were, in fact, leaked a few days beforehand. Now, there are some interesting choices - Cloris Leachman for instance that should make it an interesting season - and I still can't believe they trust Warren Sapp with one of those fragile, itty-bitty dancers (btw everyone is fragile and itty-bitty to Warren).

Also, there was no reason given for having thirteen contestants. They owed us an explanation for that. Could they not decide? Was there some sort of weird thinking that there are six men, six women and a gay guy? Very strange.

Having said all that, it should be fun!

Is it me or are there way more rumors and leaks about season 7 of Dancing with the Stars than we've seen in previous times?

It seems there are certain people who have been "leaked" early (Lance Bass, Kim Kardashian), old favorites (Florence Henderson comes up every time), accidental leaks (Warren Sapp? Warren SAPP??!?), deliberately confusing leaks (Dan Marino instead of WARREN SAPP??!???) and people who have turned it down (Kathy Griffin, Dan Kwayle).

I just hope we won't be disappointed when we actually find out for sure who the next cast is!
