Persona 4 or SH: Homecoming

Persona 4 is all you need. I'd give LBP a shot, there is alot of customization from the vids and articles I've been reading and you could probably have alot of fun with that, but only if you like a platform type of game. I probably would suggest that you go with Silent Hill, seeing as you are interested in horror genre. First I'd check the reviews to see if you'd consider getting it.

Rock Band 2 of course. I'm a nut for rhythm games, and this time you get to make a band online! Not like the first game. Tsk.
As for a second choice, hmm well I guess if you enjoyed Persona 3 then an obvious purchase to make next is P4 no? I'm not into the hype of LBP, and SH and Dead Space seemed like short games.

about games; i think SH is failure for many people but still some people like it. for myself, i'm thinking it as waste of money for now.

about Dead Space, it seems everyone likes it, its said that its very atmospheric, so i'm planning to try it on PC ( its a shooter ).

Rockband 2, well its not my kind of game.

Little Big Planet, i'll definitely get that because i like new things and it seems LBP dont have any limitations in that. after seeing some videos, i cant think that game as bad, somebody made even FFX "To Zanarkand" music's piano version... only limitation in that game can be your imagination...

Persona 4; well, i liked Persona 3 Fes and it seems Persona 4 added more interactive world this time, so i look forward to play it.


about PS, i think Eternal Sonata is beautiful game so i think its worthy for just its beauty, but i would choose VC on ES

Silent Hill:HC and Dead Space for the horror of it all. Um while SH:HC is a decent game its not the game that will re-invent the franchise for Konami that is the fighting and action was decent but I felt the game borrowed too much from the movie. Dead Space is good its like Aliens meets Event Horizon with a small pinch of StarShip Troopers pretty dynamic design and sound. Anyway glad your feeling better please use this vampire :[ to suck the blood of anyone you feel needs it. Happy Halloween too

I recommend Dead Space, its one of the best horror games to come out in a while. Silent Hill Homecomming aint a bad choice either, i'm a fan of the series myself but you'd be spending like $60 on a game you could finish over the weekend.

you know once the huge holiday landslide of games was announced and we started to hear stuff about them, I decided on getting only 2 games, both are on your list. Dead Space and Persona 4 are the only games I'm getting this end of the year Dead Space is really good and I think you'll like it... although it very 'western' and nothing like japanese horror. glad you're doing better as well

Dead Space is awesome you can take mine and grafkhuns word on this statement. So is LBP its really fun and dare I say this cute.

Jbot- For the horror in us all haha xD I saw that Gamestop was having Silent Hill homecoming on sale for 20 bucks (after trading in two ps3 games). Borrows too much from the movie?...tssk tssk. I was unimpressed with the little boy and the color pencils, will this game be able to scare me? maybe! The only complaint I have about Dead Space is the generic box-art When u said event horizon, I immediately thought of Exterminator and the Thing *shivers* xD Actually this game looks alot better than Silent Hill Homecoming IMO. oh yeah and dead space is little bit more focused on 'pop-out' scares then long term tension and isolation like SH or whatnot, but it's still kinda creepy. that said, the sound design is amazing and if you have a surround sound thingamabob it'll be awesome to hear. I strongly recommend Dead Space... and Persona 4, and Eternal Sonata, and LBP, and Mirrors Edge, and Prince of Persia and Darksiders next year and Prototpye as well...

Haha! I didn't know you're into rhythm games? But this is really sweet, knowing someone else from my friends list who loves the genre. And actually, if I were in your predicament, I'd wait for GH: World Tour's bundle to come out since the equipments are supposedly more durable. Then I'd get RB2 as a game only, since the equipment works on it as well. So that'll leave you a month or so to worry about getting the money or something and in the meanwhile, be able to get 3 games that makes up for that 1 RB2 bundle.

Dont listen to grafs second post to much. Im a horror fanatic and Dead Space made me panic and feel disturbed. Not many pop out scares actually.

I haven't played any of them and that is a tough decision because they are all different types of games. Seeming as you're into the horror thing I'd go Dead Space, seems that is quite the game and is a win for sure .

My top 2 out of those listed would be Persona 4 and Little Big Planet. Why don't you think Poison Pink, Ar Tonelico 2, and Eternal Sonata are worth it though? =O

Graf- pop out scares are like a staple of Horror. I think its all good but if it becomes too predictable, it comes off being really cheesy. Yes the atmosphere seems to be something really special. I don't think im rich enough to get everything Graf :p I know I wont be getting POP cause I still haven't finished any of the other POP. vexxy- Mmmm Hmmmmmmmmmm :p

Mufu- Yeh (: I was Hooked on dance games till I ran into rockband. Playing it with friends is really fun. I wish there was a POP band but I know that will never happen. I've taken a look at the peripherals for both games and GH does seem alot more durable. I didn't know the peripherals work inter-changably on both games. I'll be getting it if I can find someway to trade in lots of games. On top of that, i'd still need to buy a new copy of RB2. Gosh i'll be spending a fortune! haha....maayybee!! *hugs*

Angel- More love for persona and LBP (: I'm still thinking about Ar Tonelico 2, but the others aren't going to be on my wish list. Eternal Poison has strange graphics. The fight scenes and the HUD seems really weak. The strange 10 second load time between each attack is another factor that I don't like. I didn't really like the demo for ES cause the battle system seems weird. Um, i'll have to hit you back on AR tonelico 2 in a bit. I got to hit class, bye now! *hugs*

Well I'm still getting Poison Pink, so I'll tell you if your doubts about the game were well founded, when I actually get around to playing it that is. Aside from it being a SRPG, the fact that it comes with a soundtrack and art book and is only $40 makes it irresistible to someone like me.

The battle system of ES is weird at first, but once you get the hang of it, it's quite fun. Especially later on in the game when you can chain attacks together and destroy anything in your path. If you don't think it's worth the $60, maybe you can wait for the price to drop and pick it up then.

Ar Tonelico II not being on your wish list was surprising to me. I'm glad to see you're having second thoughts though. I've had my copy paid for since the pre-orders first started. It's delayed until January now though. >_>

Glad to see you feel a bit better. Try to watch some funny stuff like Everybody Likes Raymond or an Azumanga type anime.

I'd drop LittleBigPlanet. I mean it looks cute and all with the...ragdoll things and has great customizable options but I can't see the fun in it lasting all that long even if you are playing with friends. For me my two would be Rock Band and P4 because..you know..I'm not too big on them horrors.

I Haven't played any of those games so go for what you want, Also you should give Eternal Sonata a try it look's like a really awesome game(just my 2 cent).

Angel- The bundle release is really tempting. I initially wanted to order it just for the collection alone. However the bundle seems kind of lazy compared to Ar Tonelico 2. It looks like the soundtrack is placed inside the same DVD case and the artbook isn't even packaged with the game. I'd like to hear what you think about it (: I still have hopes for this game even if I think its completely underwhelming atm.

I do intend to pick up Eternal Sonata sometime since its the only real RPG out on the PS3 ATM. Chain attacks and destroy everything in my path? No wonder you have an axe in your room.

I agree with 2ndWonder, Persona 4 is all you need But to add another game to make it my Top 2, I'd have to say LittleBigPlanet. The customization options in that game look just amazing and it honestly looks like a whole lot of fun! ^_^

DEAD SPACE!!!! you are a horror/gore fan and as you know I`m too.. and that game is FREAKING sweet on it. is not slow pace horror, but the thrill is amazing, at least for me. an for what I have seen I think you would love it.

Silent Hill: again horror.. the game do have something different some of the "**** i`m gonna die, I ahve to run, run" - feeling is less for some reason. BUt neverless the game is great.

Persona 4 has not being release so i would not comment on it, just yet. I do have an eye on that one thus.
btw: I LOVED eternal sonata, I got teh game, had barely ahve time to play it and decided to finish with my few grains of free time Dead Space and SH 1st, before I forget where was I. But the game is pretty good. so far a great RPG, I do not like turn-based much, but bc this one is a kind of a mix to teh clasic sty/e I liked it... and is GOOD.

LBP is pretty good, but I have not got it yet.. why? I had to made priorities in game, kind of like you are now, and LBP is one that can wait imo. Also it was having some issue online when lauch, now a "wheel of doom" is out (some silly ppl affecting lvl for fun) so I figured that I`ll play the game that I really want and would leave that one for when I need some multiplayer cute fun.
