I don't think the the different is that much better then my old 32" 720p. But since my new 40" 1080p is newer and has more techs, it does look a little better. Plus with a bigger screen I can see more. So most of my games on the PS3 looks more glossy, but the improvement is not that big as from SD to HD. Been playing Resident Evil 5as much as FF7 and Diablo 2.

Pop culture got to me, got a wii. I don't plan on using it much, just for party and for friends to come by and check it out. The PS3 and PC are still my machines of choice.

Yes, I own a PS3 and love it. I built my next gen computer with MS Vista Ultimate, quad-core 6600 and nvidia 8800 GTS 640mb in a lian li case. Don't play much games as I got older, closer to 30 then 20. Prefer to watch blu-ray/DVD during leisure time. Loyal to a couple of game franchises: Diablo, Hero of Might.., Tekken, Resident Evil, Age of Empire. Like RTS, RPG on console and PC, fighter, racing and any other strategy games. Seattle is a nice place. Cheers
