bout damn time somebody made a decent villain. that is how he is supposed to be. a "psychopathic, mass murdering, schizophrenic clown with zero empathy" as said by the late Heath Ledger.

I have changed my avatar to the new Joker, for it has to have been at least five years since a decent portrayal of a comic book villain.

i think the way he looks isnt too traditional of the Joker...but hearing about his street violence seems to fit just right. i cannot wait to see it...

who cares about tradition? when they try to keep it traditional, they hire ppl like Jack Nicholson to play the Joker. thus ruining his image forever. lol. but it is the best batman movie ever.

Whoa...whoa....Heath Ledger was awesome as The Joker. But I keep seeing everyone use it as an excuse to badmouth Jack NIcholson's Joker. Which I love as well. They both are two different takes on the character. (Ledger being the more sadistic Joker which is the general thought of him now...Jack being a more clownish criminal of mayhem, but he was still fantastic...but still with a demented streak of sorts. Just not on the extreme level of Ledger)

I love them both.

whoa... whoa... i never said nothin bout jack nicholson. the fake teeth when batman hit him in the mouth, that was priceless. and pulling the big frickin gun out of his pants? i mean c'mon... thats the joker at his finest. but he didn't capture the pure evilness of the joker, just the funny side. thats all.

i loved both, jack nicholson's joker was funnier, but Heath Ledger's was more serious, deadly and scarier. it was the best batman movie so far.
