But there was a "Where were you during 9/11?" thread on Off-Topic that reminded me of something. These panels are from a 1985 Uncanny X-Men comic, nearly a decade before even the failed truck bombing attack on the WTC. While of course it's a coincidence, to me it was a striking one.

Dang. Looks more like the writers were telepathic...

Neat, I've never seen that before. Did they explain how it happened (mutant uprising or whatever)? Or was it just a brief one-panel thing?

@Oleg_Huzwog, It was Uncanny X-Men 189, and that particular thing was just mentioned in passing, with the implication that it happened in ongoing battles between mutants and Sentinels + hound units.

Holy crap. In a small and scary way its kind of spookey. Im no psycho, or crazy, but maybe they predicted 9/11. But then again why wouldnt they stop it? Haha!

The last panel which said "Rachel's a TELEPATH" made me lol

@DrSponge
In fairness, it was followed by describing how she felt the pain of the aforementioned dead and injured. You know, telepathically

Crazy and I remember the comic. Always loved the Rachel Summers/Days of future past plots.

That's weird...
speaking of it. Outkast has a song called B.O.B, Bombs over Bagdad. The title makes me kind of confused. It's released 10 years or so after Bush senior attacked Iraq and a few years before Bush Jr did it. (lets hope I got my facts right here)
