Whenever at a local watering hole or gfunk spot's I tend to notice that most dudes never wash their hands after using the restroom. Whether they're just in a hurry to get back to the game or they don't want to tip the attendant, whatever it is most just don't. So why would I think any differently ofan NBA baller?I don't know, maybe just having a taste of the finer things in life that come with a multimillion dollar contract he might be acclimated to something different. But this Warrior wasn't nor did he need to be. (Just thought it was an interesting social observation.) Besides he is a dude.

As I washing my hands, cuz of aiming issues, The 6'8"guard greeted me with a smile and said "Hey! Oh. I thought you wereBelinelli!"

"I'm not Italian, I'm only 6'1" anddon't have a 3pt shot. But I'll D you up, hog da boards, & drop a couple dimes while I'm at it." I quipped. (Yeah for NBA standards I'm short, but I got a nose for the boards and some mad hops to go along with it)

Then he said, "You need to do it all." as he fixed himeself. See, I can shoot, play d, rebound, steal, whatever it takes. I go hard!" "Yeah go HARD!" his homie added.

"There aint no half steppin w/ me bro, I redline all the time! I'm all heart,Ilove the game...like it's the only p*$$yI'm ever gonna see!" We laughed a drunken laugh, he said somethingbout not knowing about thatand I said good luck this season and couldn't wait to see him back on the court. Almost reached out with a hand in shake position but opted for a pound. Not just cuz the whole bathroom thing but c'mon what baller's gonna actually give you a real handshake, in the bathroom no less.

This all got me to thinking how many people wash theirhands after using the bathroom in their own house? whiletaking that quick break in between frags orpassed levels? How many controllers or arcademachines have I been on after homies madecontributionsto the DPW? Makes me want to invest in anti bacterial hand gels!

Having no interest in basketball, I had no idea what you were talking about most of the time. But, the simple fact that you met someone that seemed to be somewhat of a celebrity in the bathroom and opted not to shake his hand got me laughing.

Your entry made me remember that during the 2004 Presidential elections John Kerry had said that the most surprising thing about his newfound celebrity was that one guy offered to shake his hand at the urinal.
