This game is awsomeness at its best, give it a go if your on the ropes

http://www.gamespot.com/pc/action/redfactioniii/player_review.html?id=688571

In other news, i'm still playing Deus Ex, and have picked up playing Resident Evil 5 again, as clunky and unintuitive as it may be. The Last Stand DLC for Dawn of War II turned out to be amazing, i've played around 50 games so far and hope to continue playing it. Go Go Relic!

I'm going to be buying Dragon Age for sure, it looks amazing, but i'm really on the fence about Borderlands. It looks really fun, but i'm not sure if i have the time to be playing that and Dragon age. I've got a friend who is interested in Borderlands, so i think i'm going to buy it, but i'm still unsure. Any comments on the matter by those who have played it would be appreciated.

My next blog will either be a first impressions of Dragon Age, A first impressions of Borderlands, or a review of Deus Ex. No idea which.

Great review, man. I agree with you every bit. I played the game too and it's a great one.

did you find guerrilla challenging? One of my fiends picked up the game and liked it at first but after a while he got sick of the EDF constantly respawning and forcing him to flee the scene. I can see what he means, I know they did that so you can't just keep destroying things but at the same time the constant respawning is a fairly valid criticism. He suggested waves - like prototype strike teams. If you destroy one you get a little bit of a rest from the action.

UbberHappyGamer - i'm glad i'm not the only one who found it to be great

nutcrackr - that is a highly valid critisism, and i stopped playing the game for a few weeks because i was so frustrated with that same problem. I just turned the difficulty down to 'easy' and the problem went away, as pathetic as that may sound. I also found that once you get on in the game, you get armor/weapon unlocks that make taking on large numbers of EDF much easier. Also, once you get ranged weapons like the rocketlauncher and the nano rifle (disintegrates walls) you can solve these problems from a distance.

Loved Guerilla. The best thing I can say about the game is that is very fun. It looks good, has a lot of content, but is so much fun, which is the most important aspect of any game. It is quite challenging with the EDF, but after I got armour and newer weapons, it became much easier. I have been interested in borderland too. But with Modern Warfare 2 coming out, I won't have the time or money. But I definitly want to give it a try sometime.

speedfreak48t5p - i guess you aren't a PC gamer - we are all boycotting MW2 due to its lack of dedicated servers and mod support for the PC. If your getting it for the 360, thats fine, but i'm skipping out on the game altogether unless IW does something to fix these issues.
