It's been about 10 months since the first Wiiware titles have entered the available collection. Yet, I have downloaded none. It's not because I'm not interested at all, just simply more interested in other retail titles/VC games. I didn't receive any Wii Points in 2008, and got 5 retail games. I do not wish to continue to neglect Wiiware purchases. I probably (or most likely definitely) will not get all these Wiiware titles, but they have a certain "something" that I'm looking into.

Helix
A rhythm game featuring 26 songs, and similar to Guitar Hero, you have to match the pattern of the indicated gestures, except instead of pushing buttons and strumming, you position your arms to match the given pattern. You can use 2 Wiimotes to do it and it looks like a good work thing. Three levels of difficulty provides a learning/reflex curve, and I get burnt out after execessive playing of Guitar Hero on Expert mode after a long play through. 1000 wii points.

LIT
The description is self explanatory: "Dark creatures have taken over Jake's high school, and it's up to you to guide him through each room in order to be reunited with his girlfriend. Existing light sources must be used smartly to create bridges of light for Jake to cross. One false step and Jake gets pulled into the darkness. LIT is a horror/puzzle game that requires the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers. It contains 30 levels, five boss battles, replay modes and several unlockables, including multiple endings, Dark Mode timed challenges and an unlockable character. 800 wii points.

LostWinds
It's an adventure game with puzzle elements. You take control of the wind and use it to solve puzzles. My guess is that it goes a little more in-depth with the actual wind puzzles than Zelda: The Windwaker did It's got a nice fairy-tale charm to it. 1000 Wii Points.

Mega Man 9
Need I explain this? Blue bomber. Nostalgic. Took the series back in its best direction. oh yeah. 1000 Wii points.

Onslaught
A FPS with hordes of bugs to shoot down.It does support online co-op play up to4 players. There's also a whip to lash bugs at a close range. I dig mindless FPS games 1000 Wii points.

Tetris_party
Mass variety of game modes both single and multiplayer modes, both offline and online. It's Tetris to with a lot of depth to it. It has leaderboard rankings and tournaments too. 1200 wii points.

World of Goo
Thisis the title I want most of all, absolute buy for me. It's won a lot of Game of the Year awards, has incredibly awesome physics and smart puzzles. Nintendo even messaged me on my Wii to reccomend this game (they are the publisher of it). I look very forward to picking this one up. The only problem is that it's 1500 freekin wii points! The only other title that requires that many (so far) is Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King.

Strong Bad Episodes 1-5
The thing about these games: If I get one, I'd have to get them all, all five.I don't know if I want to go that route, but it would cost over $50, but these are some of the best reviewed Wiiware games out there. I'm a fan of homestarrunner and strong bad and of course the cheat, so I won't rule it out yet. 1000 wii points for each of the five episodes.

And that concludes my list. If you have any other suggestion or if you happen to really enjoy/didn't enjoy any of the titles that I did/didn't mention do comment below.

Nice post. It was a good read for me, as I haven't read too much about WiiWare titles. I don't have any now, but I plan on purchasing World of Goo, LostWinds, Teris Party, and probably Doctor Mario.

Good list. World of Goo is a must. But there are a couple missing that I think you should keep an eye on.

Bit.Trip Beat - A very challenging rhythm game that looks like what would happen if Pong and Guitar Hero had a baby.

Night Game - It's a very stylish physics based 2D sidescroller. I'm not doing it justice, here, just watch this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nxK3h-u6DTc

Out of those I have: World of Goo, Tetris Party, Onslaught, LostWinds and Mega Man 9. And all of them are awesome. I also have Gyrostarr and Bomberman Blast. I recommend all of the games I just listed (maybe not Gyrostarr)

@Darkmagcite: Well good luck with the purchases

@Wonkyman: I did consider Bit. Trip Beat but since it's only 3 levels I decided not to.

@ifnot: glad to hear u enjoy your purchases

Get World of Goo for sure. I didn't like Lost Winds. >_> The game never told you where to go and I got lost all the time.

@Wonkyman: Well, I just checked and seeing how it's only 600 Wii Points, and looks really fun being like a pong-ish game, I will consider it.

@alex 99: I've heard that the top players in Tetris Party Tournament are actually awarded Wii Points Is that true?

@Shy Guy Red: Yes, I will be getting World of Good definitely, if any of them.

Of the games you mentioned, I own the following, and will share my opinions of them:
LostWinds was meh. I never finished it. It wasn't bad per se, but it wasn't engaging. The characters and story were bland and the levels were samey.

MegaMan 9 is HARD. Hope your old school skillz haven't gotten rusty.

Tetris Party is THE best Tetris game I've played, ever.

World of Goo is worth every penny. It's surprisingly challenging despite its goofy, childish charm. (P.S. Nintendo publishes all WiiWare games.)

SBCG4AP: If you've got a half-decent PC, you could get the season on PC for cheaper than WiiWare. If you're a fan of the web series, you'll love the game. Even if the puzzles are unintuitive sometimes, the humor is great. (Also, if you decide you don't need all 5 episodes, 2, 4 and 5 were the best.)
