Not everything you like is "epic"

Sequels are better than remakes/ports
SEGA is more than just Sonic
Don't pay for DLC
Don't pay for xbox live
Don't buy games with peripherals new
Don't buy special editions
Don't buy games through digital distribution unless that's the only way to get a game
Are you financially invested in Nintendo/Sony/Microsoft stock? No? Then quit defending their consoles with your life.
Don't let anyone convince you to buy a game to "support the developer". Buy games because you'd have fun with them.
Leave the Wii grandpas and soccer moms alone. They're not hurting anyone,
Leave the bloody games alone. They're rated M for a reason. Read the box before buying it.

Truth #11 is my favorite. Supporting a developer by buying a game you don't even want is completely backwards, and I'll never understand why people use that argument so much.

#3 so true... I just picked up a remake of FF2 (well FF IV) today simply because they are finally sequeling off of it and I wanted to 'relive' the experience. I hope it turns out good.
#6 - but then I wouldn't get streaming netflix on my big TV without having to drag a computer down to it *sniff
#9 - Or it is SO cheap you can't pass it up. Like getting Half Life for $1. The only steam game I bought.

Is he saying that i should not pay for lost and the damned for GTA4? That is like a whole other game why would he say that?

Um yes it is look at the Dreamcast which is my favorite console, yet it stilled failed because noone bought one causing it to be economically unsound to continue.
