Assassin's Creed looks great, but with all this attention it's getting at E3, I can't help but think it's being over hyped a little, and I don't mind a little hype, but I don't like games getting so over hyped I get my hopes up for really high standards only to have them smashed when the game isn't as good as the hype. Assassin's Creed was featured in both the Microsoft and Sony Press conferences Tuesday and Wednesday, And it seems to be getting a lot of attention on all gaming sites I visit, not just Gamespot. Is this a recipe for over hype? I really don't want this game to end up like Halo 3 or something. The only thing it has going for it is that Ubisoft always makes great games that stand the hype, but it seems this game might shatter that reputation.
