Why do the TV gods hate me so? I wandered into the Law & Order: Criminal Intent forum today and found information about it's new timeslot for the fall. The season premiere airs on October 4th at 10:00 PM. This happens to be a Thursday. There is one huge problem - ER is on at the same.
Ever since hearing CI was going to be moved to USA, I was afraid this was going to happen. I live in a dorm so there is no way for me to record one of the two, which means I am going to have to choose. And since I am editor for ER, that decision is essentailly made for me already.
I really hope NBC airs the CI episodes at some point - there's generally at least on show that gets cancelled fairly quickly.

I tried to watch CI but never got into it as much as the other two L&O's.

Maybe there is a way of getting a CI magicked to you - we'll sort it, you'll see

you could try catching it later on the internet. its usually on streaming sites and upoaded a hours later. i have a load of addresses o if you want any just mail me and ill find the episodes for you or get you a site where you can watch them. hope this helps...

Sometimes on a cable network they replay the new episodes later in the night, you should check.

In the old days this was a problem. With dvr, tivo and such what's the prob?

I live in a college dorm, so no DVR, Tivo, or even a VCR for me.

Bummer.
In the early 90's, I lived in western KAnsas, got 2 stations, one was PBS! No cable. Well my mother taped a lot of stuff for us and we played it on our vcr. Sorry your access is so limited. I'd make friends with guys off campus so you can visit every so often and get your CSI fix. Bring em a pizza, they'll love ya for it!
