I attended the Invisible Children event Displace Me this weekend and it was an amazing experience. For those who read this blog and are unaware of what IC is, check out their website at http://www.invisiblechildren.com/ It's worth your time. I'll have to check the promo material after it is release and see if I appear at all.

I finished the Firefly series and now all I have left is the "Serenity" movie. The show was fan-freaking-tastic and I hope the movie does it justice. It's hard to pick a favorite character but it would have to be between Zoe, Kaylee, or Inara. Don't get me wrong, I loved everybody abord the vessel. Favorite episode would have to be.... "Objects in Space" because River is so crazy that it is amazing.

The next new series for me will be Arrested Development.  I've seen about 6 or so episodes from the first season and its hilarious. I'll go with Maeby as my favorite so far. George Michael's crush on her is cute but still creepy. I also really loved Alia Shawkat when she starred in "State of Grace" and her guest spot on VM.

I plan on finishing Freaks and Geeks when I get the chance and I'm still going strong with Dead Like Me. I hope to at least have the first season finished by the end of the term. On a side note, I found old episodes of Are You Afraid of the Dark? so I've rewatched a couple of those to relive my childhood days.

I present "Snakes in the Rain" and other fun tales. Help us all. There is some cursing so if you want to avoid that....yeah.

Invisible Children is a great cause, and it really does deserve everyone's attention. Kudos for posting about it. As for Serenity, I haven't met a Firefly fan yet who was disappointed in the film -- it's just like the show, but much MUCH bigger.
