Since I have some time to spare.....

The world's beloved Crocodile Hunter, Steve Irwin, has died. He was killed by a sting ray. He was 44.

When this news came out, I was in total shock. I mean, of all the people, The Crocodile Hunter? I know he has dabbled in alot of life and death situations but I thought he was practically immune to this situations. Well, I will dearly miss him.

Rest In Peace, Steve.

I will be no longer touching my account tomorrow onwards as I would need to concentrate more on my studies. I did good for my recent class tests but due to pressure, I would need to study and study and study. So, I will return around mid-October when my year end exams finish. So for now, this is sayonara. Goodbye.

I posed this question since now I'm getting kinda bored with playing Counter-Strike. I mean, it's just another multiplayer game, since now there's F.E.A.R. Combat, Halo 2. So, what does Counter-Strike have something that the aforementioned games don't? Is Counter-Strike just losing it's playability? Ever since it premiered as a mod for Half-Life all the way in 1999, every gamer was going ga-ga over it. People could play 24 hours of Counter-Strike. Terrorists, counter-terrorists, hostages. But now is 2006, seven years since Counter-Strike debuted. I think there could be more fun on Halo 2 Multiplayer than on Counter-Strike. I think there could be one day whereas everybody would put their copy of Counter-Strike in their closet full of their Duke Nukem, Doom etc. games. Just like how Jim Varner said for Final Doom, "Like an aging athlete, the time has come for it to hang up its gloves and exit gracefully from the scene."
