I normally don't blog about news... but this one hits home... hard...
I've loved Marvel my whole life... I've never been too fond of Disney... but as a company, Disney is evil... founded on racism, hate, greed and false idol worship.
Disney is just one of those companies who refuse to let there be any alternatives... much like Gamestop and Wal*Mart...
this marks yet another sad day in media icon history... Marvel would have been better off selling to another comic company.... like Dark Horse or DC... even a Manga company would have suited better.
from a comparative perspective, they abused, destroyed and underused the Muppets after buying them.... and I expect to see the same thing happen to the marvel universe 
look at recent history of Disney buys for more proof... Buena Vista (Disney's subsidiary release company for "low-level purchases")
a slew of anime films and series including but not limited to: Digimon, Spirited Away and more.
a myriad of old-time shows and series not previously affiliated with Disney including animated and live action series, moves and characters... most of which were kept silent from the public for various reasons... most likely in the hopes that some bizarre and outlandishly inexplicable pop-culture fad brings them back... like in the case of Chuck Norris, Transformers, Alvin and the Chipmunks, ect.
one of the most recent releases from this group was the god-awful movie which was nothing at all true to its name was "Underdog"
Disney currently owns most of the channels on TV. Sony owns everything those channels use to air and film. we are merely counting down the days til the end of days now.
on the same topic, this is exactly why capitalism will ultimately fail. in the end....wars will no longer be fought by those preaching that their religion is more right than another religion or someone pushing unwanted politics on someone else... but by the last 2 companies standing that haven't bought each other..
at this rate, it's likely to be Disney V Sony. ending in a nuclear war.

Question: isn't there a monopoly law in place to prevent one company from owning everything?
Answer. Yes. however, that law only slows the progress of the consumption of the world. in the end, it won't stop anything.

Reply: that's a ridiculous attitude for someone in a supposed Democracy. if you truly felt you were in a Democracy, your comment would have been "if you don't like it, do something to try and change it." there once was a time where people in this country thought that way.... but the government beat you all into submission.... now we are more slave-like than 90% of the "western world" countries... and for the record, we don't have a democracy... but a republic... a corrupted and broken one at that.
Question: don't you think there's any chance of some good stuff coming out because of this? (uses examples like Kingdom Hears and Marvel V Capcom)
Answer: it's possible.... but so is nuclear war. and so is the existence of higher beings and aliens. possible and probable are not the same thing. I expect to see more "Howard the Duck" though...
Comment/Question: Stan Lee has been whoring to anything and everything for the last 10 years now... shouldn't you have seen this (or something like this) coming?
Reply: probably... but dwelling on negative thoughts wouldn't have helped... the future is doomed enough ya know?
