Sorry, I can't think of a song more appropriate for today/tomorrow.

Now, I get out of school TOMORROW. That's right! I know you're so jealous. Well, maybe not Kristi, but you're just lucky like that. And to top it off, my brother stays in school until next week! So, now I'm upset. This is the last time I'll see many of my classmates, including You-Know-Who (No, not Voldemort). Now I'm crying.

Now that that's done, we had our 8th grade barbecue yesterday. I had fun, playing softball, enjoying food off the grill, you know, the whole deal. Then came the end of the barbecue. The boys were at the field playing softball, while most of the girls were on the school blacktop "field" (AKA: a vacant lot of grass). We came back, and I knew that something was wrong, considering that the girls were nowhere to be found. I knew immediately what they were doing. Two clues:

1. The girls were nowhere to be seen from the fence.

2. Earlier in the day, I had to get Mr. Mihm's (my teacher) keys and the bases for softball before I went down to the field. I got the keys easily, but the bases were on the other side's actual field. So, after getting the bases, I went in through the side door and found a cooler, with a few water balloons inside, and a bag of balloons at the sink.

Put 2 and 2 together and voila! I was lucky. Because I knew ahead of time, I got away from them and stayed dry!!! Yeah!!!!!!!!! I was going to grab one of the extras, but I didn't get there in time before the girls went back for refills. So I was dry, but Mr. Mihm got soaked He even got a cooler dumped on him.

Yesterday was also the sports banquet for my school. Our school got three championships: basketball, track, and baseball. I was on none of them; unless you count doing the book for baseball every game.
