Has anyone else noticed the rather dramatic increase of the use of horrible grammar on the Internet? I'm sure that there are people that try to use proper grammar while online. (I used to use horrible grammar; look at some of my previous blog posts.)

I know that it's hard to use perfect grammar, and I can understand that.(I certainly don't have perfect grammar.) However, the use of acronyms and abbreviations has gone through the roof lately. It didn't suddenly happen either, but it just seems ubiquitous lately.

I remember a great quote that I read in someone's signature a while ago... I'm not exactly sure who said (or wrote) it, but it said something similar to this: Thousands of English teachers roll into their graves everyday because of the Internet.

I can see why people use acronyms and what-not; it is easier to type three or four letters than six or seven, isn't it? (Well, not really.) At least I could understand what people were trying to get across before, anyway. However, I now get headaches when I try to understand what some people are writing.

Well, I guess that's about it. I don't really have a suggestion, nor do I have anything similar to a suggestion. What are your thoughts on the constantly appearing acronyms/abbreviations, if you have any?

Well, I just noticed it's been two years since I last made a blog update/post. I've been on a fair amount, but mostly lurking the Pokemon Trade Forums. That, and school of course, are my main two focuses right now, I guess.

So... not too much has happened in two years. Well, nothing worth mentioning, anyway. I've been doing very well in school, and getting a lot done in my gaming, but otherwise, I haven't done all that much. I had a 4.3 G.P.A. average last year, whichwas the best I've done. But, I did get a 4.529 this quarter... I tied for highest in the school.

Other than that and my renewed Pokemon obsession, not much is new. Except for me realizing just now how awkward it feels to make a blog update after two years and having it be so short.

Anyway, I guess I'm back-ish. I'll try to do a blog update every month, so long as I remember.

So, yeah, that's it. Going to get ready to go to sleep; I have to be at school at 7:30AM tomorrow for induction into the National Honor Society. Ah, that's what I was forgetting. I was inducted into the National English Honor society and the National Spanish Honor Society as well, so this will make the third honor society. I'm also in Honor Council, which is cool. (We decide wether or not people get expelled, to put it simply.)

That really is all, this time, I believe. And I now feel better because the blog entry is longer ^.^

Well, now that I have plenty of time on my hands, I've been playing more games, beating them, and listening to some new cd's. I've also written my first review! (Yay me!!!)

Anyway, I'm goin on vacation starting this Sunday,and I'll be back on Tuesday... goin to some resort...

and i got Avril Lavigne's new cd, it's called "The Best Damn Thing". i give it a 10/10, i swear, im listening to that cd every second now that i got it...

anyways, im gonna start packing now, and i hopethe place im staying at has a computer so i can get on gamespot,
