Okay, let me tell you about my three-day vacation in Long Island...
First, before leaving, I decided to buy a couple of CDs. Yes, CDs. I honestly didn't feel like going on iTunes for these:
Ten by Pearl Jam
My Own Prison by Creed
So far, I'm liking them. Ten sounds better than My Own Prison, though.
Next, I decided to take the train to LI. I live in east-central New York State, so I could drive there if I wanted. Problem is, driving through NYC alone without familiarity is suicide. So, instead, I took a train to the city, and another one eastward towards LI (not much trouble). I spent three days at my grandparents' house (as you already knew). However, being in their mid 80's, my grandparents were not the most fun people to be around. I spent those days in their house, watching TV, eating, and conversing. It was just too hot outside to do anything.
I spent about five and a half hours getting back home... since I had to wait an hour in the train station between trains, and the northbound train was delayed a bit. But, I got home in one piece. Made my folks rather proud. ![]()
Well, enough about that story... I might as well tell you that my GB profile is up. The username is the same as my YouTube name: TheVGManiac. So, hit me up with a friend request!
I was unable to watch the press conference today because it started when I was at work, and when I got home, the site was so full I couldn't even load the front page. But now I see the news on the newsbar: the next "numbered" Final Fantasy game is coming to the Xbox 360. Geez louise... I couldn't believe my eyes. Those games have been PS-exclusive for ten years, and now it's gonna be multi-platform. I honestly don't know what to say. I guess it was bound to happen, though, and I can't complain, either. ![]()
Also, I wanted to re-subscribe in time for E3, but there was a billing snag and I had to contact customer service (which hasn't responded yet). Now I have to wait for that, too. Other than that, not much else to speak of... I'll probably be downloading the console companies' PC's when they're available, so I can watch them on my own time.
