You've read the title right and you've read it well. The end of the world is nigh. It's unstoppable, like a hulking behemoth of doom. It cannot be stopped, will not be stopped. All you can do is pray for a swift mercy killing.

But Vashkey, you ask, how did you come to this conclusion? Well, it all started in the all too familiar realm of Halo 3. A harmless videogame... Or at least thats what it may seem to the eyes of the innocent. But it is a land of endless bloodshed and war.

The particular battle ground this tale takes place in, Valhala. I had been cruelly murdered in cold blood twice by the accursed blue team right out of spawn. After, I could feel the beast within. It said, "pick up the sniper rifle". Despite being a weapons I rarely ever use I followed the order...

And this happened.

Yeah, all humorous melodrama aside I never ever get Sniper Sprees. Never. Like, I just looked it up on my bunge.net profile and apparently that was my first sniper spree ever. And it's not as if I'm a bad Halo 3 player, my k/d spread is .99 it's just that I hate the sniper rifles for three reasons.

1. I feel that they are cheap. In pretty much every shooter I've ever played the sniper rifle will kill in one or two shots at most.
2. They just aren't mai **** I prefer up close and personal, in you're face confrontation. It feels alot more rewarding. When you kill someone with out Mr.One-shot-nub-gun it means you were straight up the better player.
3. .... I suck with the sniper rifle...

To better get the point across here are some interesting Halo 3 Vash stats. I mostly play social match maiing. According to my social stats I have more kills with the Halo 3 pistol than the sniper rifle. Thats right, that Halo 3 Pistol. And yes, I'd take the pistol any day over the sniper rifle.

Almost every weapons I have less kills than the sniper rifle with is either because I can't find the weapon often enough to use it regularly(such as the Carbine and the tank) or because I typically shoot and follow it with a finishing melee attack(like the mauler and plasma pistol).

Now that I've got a sniper spree who knows whats next? A rampage? Maybe a killtrocity? Or perhaps even a sharpshooter? Whats that, I shouldnt hold my breath? What do I have to do to get that med- Ah ha ha ha ha, you almost got me there!

In other boosting me ego news, I got this shiny achievement in Gears of Wars 2 for reaching the rank of 25! Thanks in part to a double EXP weekend and some grinding in Annex and Horde.

Whats next on the Gears 2 agenda? Nothing until the Dark Corners DLC hits the Live market place. Played so much Gears 2 this weekend I'm burned out for now. But I must tip my invisible hat to epic for a job well done on title update 4, than did a darn good job. We've come a long way from the buggy launch the game had. Now I can't blame Epic for making a broken game when I get my butt kicked.

To all those who did, thank you for having the patience for reading though this ego filled blog. If I were a game I'm sure you'd have 1000/1000 GS by now. The DLC achievements though? We'll see.
