I had ordered Justice League #10-15, which is a story arc called Rock of Ages. But the seller had sent me Justice League International #10-15 and not Justice League of America. I messaged the seller (who replied with "Oh crap"), and he's gonna mail me the correct ones and told me to just keep the others.

So, not being interested in them at all, I gave them to my comic geek friend Kent. He's now been squeeing like a fan girl ever since, because apparently they're super c.lassic (they're from 8 and something special and by his favorite grumpy old comic writer.

And more or less by accident, I won this The Dark Knight Joker drawing by the maintainer of batman_lulz onLivejournal She was short on money and sold it on eBay.

I had debated which of the very nice Joker figures I wanted to buy, btw, since both Hot Toys and DC Direct were doing some nice 12 inch dolls. But I couldn't decide, because one had a nicer face than the other, while, the other had better and more realistic clothes.

But on a spur of the moment I changed my mind and ordered this:

Because when it comes down to it it's throught he comics I've gotten to know and like Joker, and this statue represents Batman and him from the comics. It's really awesome and I saved a lot of money on it on eBay. Can't wait for it to arrive!

I finally got word from milehighcomics yesterday by using the "Ask seller a question" button on Ebay. They explained that they use a consolidated shipper so they collect as many shipments to one area of the world before shipping them. They could have stated this somewhere, would have saved me a lot of head ache!

And lo and behond, the missing package arrived today, yay! 12 more comics home on my shelf My collection is huge now

In other Batman comic related news, I read Justice League Unlimited #41 yesterday. A cute Joker/Harley/Batman story. So I've got scans for you! Thumbnailed for size, obviously

Awwww LOL! So they take off to arrange a special anniversary gift for Batsy at wherever it is the Justice League reside The remains of the JL that aren't with Batsy and Supes are watching a movie, when they hear noices. We cut to:

Joker and Harley have split up, and fighting ensues with a couple of JL members for a page which I'm skipping.

Joker manages to sneak away and finds Batsy's room. Oooooh, to dress up like your hero!

"DON'T YOU DARE STEP ON MY BATSY'S CAPE!" LOL!

So Harley has a head ache, but who cares, because apparently the idea that Batsy must feel terrible inside his costume is just so much worse!

More fighting ensues when they run into another JL member, but they manage to escape her too. The JL guys meet up and talk some. Let's move forward.

Again abandoning poor Harley. Does she ever learn?

Yeah, Joker, you could have, you know, rummaged through his drawers, lied down on his bed, and... stuff...
