So, I just saw Paul Thomas Anderson's long awaited film THERE WILL BE BLOOD.
In my lifetime I have not heard a movie compared to CITIZEN KANE so often.
Maybe I just never noticed people comparing movies to CITIZEN KANE.
Well, let me tell you folks, I've seen CITIZEN KANE, and THERE WILL BE BLOOD is no CITIZEN KANE.

Sure it's no Citizen Kane, but it's still pretty friggin' sweet. If Daniel Day Lewis doesn't fetch himself his second Oscar for his performance, than I will probably lose what little respect I had for the academy. Same goes for cinematography and sound effects editing.
