Well to me its not really a Journal, since a true journal is private, I see it as a way of telling stories about my life, and seeing how people react to them, something that I could do without, but I have the time.......sad really.

Journals? Journals! We don't need no stinking J.................... oh journals! Oh Yes, they are essential to the expressive part of the Human Mind, a revelation and a necessity.

You're mocking me out cuz I'm 49 ! Are you a Mod on the OT board? That's where I learned of your infamy.
Posted Dec 10, 2006 4:22 pm PT
Infamy? .. Infamy..? whose got it in for me?
Posted Dec 14, 2006 10:19 am PT
It's celebratory infamy.Peeps are fascinated with the elder GSers. It gets asked on the OT board all the time: Who's the oldest GSer? As far as we can tell, you've got the title ! Don't forget to stop at my blog, too, cuz I'm pairing down my friends list at year's end.

I agree with Jody.Besides , if ya don't say you're not a teenager, who's to know ! lol

Oh - I dont care about people knowing how old I am. I was just going to say that I dont feel any older than I did 25 years ago ..... but its more than that : Its strange but I cannot put an age as to how old I do feel. I am still rather fit, agile, my mind is still quick and nimble ..... I still do daft spontaneous things (like suddenly breaking into a comical Barynya in the middle of the town centre) just to make strangers laugh...
Heck - They say age is a state of mind. Well I know that the body itself plays a large part but the mind bit does seem to be very true. My relatives say that I get and act younger every year - at this rate I will be 3 when I pop my clogs
Good grief - I will stop this now before it turns into blog ......

Turn it into a blog then.

I completely agree with your thoughts. Age is something... well, I don't know how to say it but it's a physical atribute, but it doesn't reflect the real age of your brain at all. Just like beautiful people aren't necessarily smart, not all young people think like someone of their age. You know what - I am going to say this here: I am only 15 years and yet I have a pretty mature mind. Probably not as experienced as an elder like you who's been through all kinds of life experiences, but still even my mother is impressed about the way I think. I guess I'm celebral enough to compensate the fact that I'm not so good physically speaking.

Talking about brain age: Dracula68 and A_Viper thought that I'm somewhere in the 20s and not 15. To be honest, I'm happy though that they haven't changed their opinion after finding out that I'm much younger than I am, which is one of the reasons why I'm still friends with them. But after all, posts reflect more of who you are than age... Age is constantly changing, we get older but we must keep a positive vibe in our thinking. Too bad there aren't many people like you that still manage to keep their way of thinking fresh after retirement... Well, at least, when you retire, you can finally dedicate all of your time to your hobbies. The age has certainly some downs but when you don't have to go at work or to school, it feels like childhood reloaded, for people like you.

Jeez, this is such a long comment.

You can write my blog!

The best thing I find about retirement is that I am no longer a slave to the clock. Time now has little meaning most of the time. I eat when I am hungry, sleep when I am tired and everything else when the fancy takes me.
It is a remarkable relaxing feeling - I am falling in love with life again

I just can't stop noticing how I'm inspiring so much people... (The story with "so much people" is a long story...)

It would be awesome not to be a slave to the clock, without a doubt. In this period, when I have lots of exams to do, it feels so stressing... You know, many times I have been wondering how would it be if the day consisted of more than 24 hours. I guess I could do so many things including visiting GameSpot for more time than I can now... Dreams, dreams...

"so much people" intrigues me - do tell.
