Okay, after some research I found some answers (or spoilers, depending on how you look at it) at the following website:

Of course we will! For one thing I read spoilers and not only have the shown episodes summaries with Sylar in them but they have also released a slew of other spoilers reguarding Sylar's story arc in Volume 4 and actual photos of him but I think Sylar surviving is a given. We've seen before that a piece of glass (or whatever) in the back of the head was not enough to stop Claire or Peter. Why should it be enough to stop him? I realize the fire changes things but as soon as he gets that glass out he'll heal no problemo. He will be fine, trust me on this. As you know I love him as much as you so I wouldn't say it unless I knew it was true.

I'm glad U like my icon. I am thinking of changing it to Robert Pattinson. Don't worry about Fugitive being fun or not its all a surprise with shocking twists. Maybe this season might get back on track and Sylar will do what he does best kill. Sylay will get to meet his father in this section of hewroes

Okay Sylar's return was lame. Claire was the only one who acknowledged that we were to think he was dead. Then viola. He's back. They could have made that a much more dramatic deal. But whatever, at least he's back. (And totally awesome fighting off all the invaders of his father's home, whom I am VERY excited to meet!)
