Wow, this is my first blog this year!!! I haven't really had anything important to blog about but I have a few things to rant about right now so I guess this would be a good time for it.

First off thanks to maritimer00 I am now a trusted contributor for the 2008 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament guide. If you got the time and know a tidbit or so don't be afraid to submit it. Also wish to talk about it check out the forum there or on the sports board.

Next off...

Go Giants! Yes it may have been a while ago but the New York Giants have won the Super Bowl within my last blog. Boy did I root for them too. I am not a Pats fan, sorry Tom.

Now two seasons are beginning, MLS and MLB.

My picks for the Major League Baseball Season are as follows:

American League
Red Sox
Tigers
Angels
Indians

National League
Mets
Brewers
Padres
Cardinals

World Series
Indians over Mets*

* indicates I chose the Indians over the Tigers becasue if the Tigers went to the Series I would get a lot of crap from my friends

For the MLS my picks are:

8 Playoff Teams Regardless of Conference
New England Revolution
Houston Dynamo
Los Angeles Galaxy
Chicago Fire
D.C. United
Chivas USA
FC Dallas
Columbus Crew*

MLS Cup
Los Angeles Galaxy over D.C. United

* indicates my surprise team

On to TV.com and TV related things...

So right now I am level 40 and soon to be level 41. It is pretty neat, because the Level 40's were always like the 50's and 60'sare right now and I was like 20 or 25 so I have come a long way. I should be fixing my guides up in the summer. Hopefully finally completing many of them. Alot are just adding recaps and cast. One guide I have to add episodes though.

I have become a bit of a reality buff so for American Idol I was glad to see Amanda and Chickezie go. My favs rioght now are David Cook, Michael Johns, Kristy Lee Cook, and Brooke White.

The celebrity Apprentice was named tonight and it was
***SPOILER***

I wasn't upset with the decision as the winer did win the most and that was the game. The loser was who I was rooting for, he is just an all-around good guy.

Don't Forget the Lyrics is the other reality show I watch. I try to catch it when it is a celebrity but when it is just a normal person I don't go out of my way and flip from Smallville or another show I like to view it.

Onto my more sought after shows. Right now I am an official Season 4 Lost Fan. The whole Lost in 8:15 video helped a ton. I now know all I need to be with most of the other regular fans, not any of those speculators though. Smallville is another show I watch. I have not followed it very closely this season but the last two episdoes have been pretty good. Especially tonight's. I really didn't care about the Brainiac storyline as much tonight as I did the Veritas and Lex storyline. That kept me watching. The Last Show still going on right now that I have been watching is the new Eli Stone. For a guy that isn't a law fanatic this show keeps me watching. The upcoming episodes look juicy!

Kyle XY just ended last week, and maybe my hopes were a little high, but I expected more from this season. The cliffhanger with Amanda was alright but it was someone from Latnok, or even harder to believe maybe Tom Foss. hy maybe he needs her to stop distracting Kyle from him. What do you think?

Thanks to all who visited! Leave me comments! Suggestions! Or Anything Else!

Penguins are looking strong!

The Rev's are my MLS pick this year. Of course I say that every year. (I actually say that about the Penguins, Steelers and Red Sox every year too. Strange. )

It's good to see you again. I like David Cook too.

It's definitely been awhile. I would pick the D'Backs over the Pads, but that's me. I'm gonna get crap if the Indians win, so I hope you're wrong.

Congrats on the tourney, I noticed you and maritimer contributing right after the selection show.

Hey Fanatic, Nice to hear from you again! How's it been? I change my icon and my blog picture to something out of wrestling. It's my favorite voice actor from the animated series, Trinity Blood, Troy Baker. He is so handsome, punk, and I like how he is. I been going through a whole lot since I found out about Lance Cade's real name. But I still show my support for him. Anyway catch you later!

Interesting picks for both MLB and MLS, but I would have to agree with most of them!

Mattevt: Yeah, with Sid the Kid coming back this could be our year.

IndianaMom: The only thing is he reminds me of Daughtry, and he was voted off becasue he did the hard rock thing every week. So I think David needs to do something out of his norm just once or twice and he could be a lock in.

orangemann327: I don't follow the West divisions, A.L. and N.L., so I really didn't have a big thought behind who I picked for thos two. The D-Backs picked up Dan Haren if I am correct, he should be helping the pitching staff.

Mac-Ale: Yeah, I guess you could call us early bloomers! I really like sports guides as you can tell by my editorships. And with the new 100 word recap limits and all the information we have in the recaps, two people is much better, and quicker, than one. Now for my summer I have to get three of my guides completed. Atleast I hope to.

Cadefan22: What is Lance's real name? I thought it was Garrison. Wrestlemania is only a few days away. Any picks?

T_Brennan: Thnks for visiting. Do you follow the MLS closely, or are you like me and just trys to catch that one game a week that is televised and use the website to fill in the blanks!?

It's Lance McNaught. Apparently, I found it from wikipedia which has been cited to onlineworldofwrestling.com, which I send an e-mail to the editor in chief of onlineworldofwrestling.com and he send me a responce saying it's true and he send me a link to a fourms board. Upon that I ened up googling his real name and I got some information that when he was recoving from that left knee injury, his grandfather had died. He and his relatives took his grandfather's casket to the grave.

As for Wrestlemaina, Flair is going to win, Triple H is going to win, but some of the users thinks it's going to be Cena, because of his Wrestlemaina winning streak, Undertaker is going to destroy Edge, Batista is sure going to anilate Umaga, and Big Show is going to take Floyd Mayweather to the cleaners on it. Oh, I forgot about the divas, Melina and Beth are going to beat Ashley and Maria, not because I like Melina and Beth, but Maria and Ashley can't defeat them in singles compition. Unless that turkey Santino is invovle, Maria and Ashley are a sure to win it.

I am not keen for the 24 man battle royal, but who is going to win it, it's have to be Big Daddy V or anyone who is ECW!

I almost forgot about the Money in the Bank Ladder Match. The reigning Intercontinetal Champion, Chris Jericho is sure to win.

Another thing that I forgot is the Belfast Brawl between JBL and Finlay. Finlay is defintly going to win. After all, Finlay loves to fight!

I would say we sound like we're in thes same situation with the MLS. Try to catch a good game or two each week, but in the Summer MLB takes first priority!

I'm rooting for the Indians to win it all since the Nats probably aren't a playoff team this year. Cleveland has the talent to win but it also comes down to injuries, clutch performers and sometimes simple luck.

I liked the Kyle XY emphasis on relationships. They hit the scifi angle hard in season 1.

The Cardinals as wild card is a stretch as they have no pitching and Big Albert's knee can blow at any moment.

123home123: The Indians haven't looked as strong as I thought they would right off the bat. The Brewers have though! I still thinkthe Pirates can go .500 becasue they can hang with a lot of teams but signs like hitting batters or giving up a quick single then a walk show that a pitching change is needed, but one never happens until it is too late. Like tonights game. Maholm gave epu a grand slam after hitting Ramirez, walking Uggla, and giving up a single before those. Why doesn't he get taken out. It is the easiest callfor a coach to make!

Cubtracker: The relationships were pretty good. I am kind of glad they got rid of Jessie after 1 season. She was good but the storyline was beginning to drag for me so I am glad they are changing it up a bit.
