It is almost 2009, and everyone will be making their resolutions! I can't be bothered making any this year since I always break them, but feel free to tell me what yours are.

I was going to look back at 2008, but realised that nothing notable (in my life, anyway) happened and that I had not watched that many films. I'm also way behind on a lot of teleivision so I won't even go there with a best list.

New Shows in 2009!

Dollhouse is the only new show I know about, it marks Joss Whedon's return to TV and has Eliza Dushku in the leading role. Sounds pretty awesome already, right? It has an interesting premise and hopefully Fox will let it reach an audience before messing around with it, I really hope it will survive in the Friday slot!

My taste in films can be pretty bad, but I am looking forward to a few! Well, there are probably more I would like to watch but these are the ones I can actually be bothered to list!
Angels and Demons

I loved the book, and I think it could translate very well to the big screen. It is full of twists and turns, and it will probably be one of the biggest films of 2009! The trailer can be viewed here.
Street Fighter: The Legend Of Chun Li

The last time Hollywood did a Street Fighter movie, it was a mess (an awesome mess that I have on DVD, and still enjoy despite it being pretty cheesy). This will focus on my favourite Street Fighter character, and I'm sure that Kristin Kruek will do well as the leading lady.
The Ugly Truth

This probably won't be amazing, but I am sure it will be a nice way to kill two hours! Plus, I'd watch Katherine Heigl in anything. The trailer can be viewed here.
Veronika Decides To Die

It stars Sarah Michelle Gellar in the lead role, and the trailer completely won me over! I will definitely be buying this on DVD (I'm not sure I see it getting a cinema release here). The trailer can be viewed here.
