Hey everyone. I am now officially done with school for a few weeks. I'm trying to just relax, but I know when I go back it will be back to work again. Oh well. In my next few blogs I might start a random new feature, basically just me randomly reviewing a particular TV season so my blogs aren't always as short! Me needs ideas.

Five Shows Cancelled Before Their Time
I was flicking through TWOP, and saw this. TWOP did a list of ten shows that were cancelled before they should have been, and I will list five shows that I thought should have stayed longer on the air!
5. Firefly

In all honesty, I'm not the biggest Firefly fan. The main reason I even bothered watching the entire series was for River. However, the last episode (Objects In Space) and the movie Serenity showed me that this show may have gotten better if it was kept on the air for a few more seasons.
4. Dirty Sexy Money

One of three shows that ABC recently canned, it wasn't particularly amazing and certainly is not one of my favourite TV shows ever. But it was fun, I could sit for an hour and enjoy the craziness of these people (Karen in particular was awesome).
3. Joan Of Arcadia

This lasted two seasons before being axed, and I have only seen the first. It was a great show, and I'm not a religious person at all so my love for it didn't come from that God aspect at all. It was just a fun show.
2. Pushing Daisies

Another one of the recently cancelled ABC shows. This was my favourite new show last year, it was quirky, well written, hilarious and looked beautiful. I'm just glad I have not seen any of season two yet, it gives me something to look forward too!
1. Veronica Mars

From each show I have included on this list, Veronica Mars lasted the longest. Three (excellent) seasons. I really was irritated with the CW's decision to axe it, because Veronica had more left in her. Although, I'm glad we didn't have to endure FBI Veronica. Although, I'm sure that show would have been better than most of the crap on TV these days.

What do you think of my list? What have I left out?

Bye everyone, I also have a shiny new icon and four more episodes of last season one to watch! I hope you all have a great Christmas (or Hannukah, or for those who don't have anything like that coming up, a great week!)

Yay, winter break! Veronica Mars was definitely canceled before its time and I'll never get over it. The FBI idea was a little iffy but hey, crappy Veronica Mars is better than no Veronica Mars! Right now, I'm not wishing for the show to come back, but I'm just wishing for a proper ending. Happy holidays.

Agreed about Firefly. I never could get into Veronica Mars or Daisies though.

i totally agree with joan of arcadia. i was so sad when they axed that one. especially since it was left with a cliffhanger. lame lame lame. ps, my love for it didn't come from a religious point either. i am so not religious that it's surprising that i even liked it in the first place. i didn't watch any of the other shows so i don't know about them.

I haven't seen any of these but I want to see VMars, Firefly and Pushing Daisies but I haven't had time lately . Have a great Christmas!

yay for Winter break I agree, it wasn't my favourite show but Dirty Sexy Money was an entertaining hour. Veronica Mars is my favourite show, and I don't think I'll recover from it's cancellation unless they make a movie. I can never bring myself to watch the series finale because it's just so depressing and annoying for that to be the very end! The OC, Moonlight, Arrested Development and Dark Angel are some of the other shows that were axed before their time Love the icon! Have a very Merry Christmas!!!

Dirty Sexy Money was a great show, same for Veronica Mars. Other great shows that were cancelled were: Twin Peaks, Hex, The Prisonier (1967), The Brady Bunch and many many more.

I don't really care much for 2-5 even though I do like some of them but I totally agree on Veronica Mars. Another show I probably would've put on the list is Tru Calling. And nice icon, btw. Izzie rocks. [And is that scene from Season 2 and the whole "Cristina and Meredith are doers, we're watchers" thing?]

Firefly was definitely cancelled prematurely. I didn't watch it while it aired, but rented the DVD's. Great show. Can't comment on the others, although I do like Kristen Bell. Too bad Sylar had to turn her into a Pez dispenser on Heroes.

I agree with you on VM & JOA! Those shows were amazing!

Firefly was not given a fair chance, of course I was one of the fans who liked it from episode one but just the same you know a show wasn't agiven a fair shot when fans who weren't even overly impressed with it wanted to see it run longer.

Well I only watch two of those shows (watched- sob!) but you speak the truth!! Its always sad to lose TV shows, especially when they have so much untapped potential like Firefly.

Oh and happy Christmas!

Great top choice! Havent seen one or two of them so cant comment on them, but I agree with the others. Also Tru Calling just started to turn amazing, as did Point Pleasant, Dead Like Me. . . the list goes on!!!!

Comments, yay! Sorry of this reply is all over the place, I can't seem to skip lines anymore for some reason.
lovedust Crappy Veronica Mars is usually still pretty awesome anyway! Happy Holidays!

WH Yep.

Vicky I haven't seen season two either, but it does air here shortly!

Auntie Thanks for commenting!

daretodream I heard it ended on a big cliffhanger, but I haven't gotten that far yet.

Twisted Oh, you should definitely check out VM and Daisies, both are excellent shows.

Steph I would love a VM movie, and KB and Rob Thomas seem optimistic about it, so lets hope they get one! I loved The OC, but I didn't include it because it got a great ending.

GotalYeah, a lot of great shows have been taken before they should have been.

NJZ Yeah, that is the scene it is from. I have only seen Tru Calling once, some episode about a car-race or something. I don't remember being very impressed with it to be honest.

sylent I got into Firefly on DVD as well. And Kristen Bell is awesome, she is a very talented actress!

Canog I agree!

Smg I agree, the show was capable of alot judging from the last ep, and the excellent film!
Funky Agreed, and Merry Christmas!
algunaAgreed.
Panda I remember watching Point Pleasant once or twice on E4, it seemed like an interesting show!

I hope you all have a Great Christmas (or whatever it is you all celebrate!). Or if you don't, have a great week!
