meryl cassie, a relatively unheard of name in hollywood.is truely one of nz's hidden treasures.she is amazing she has gone from a season1 villain(ebony) to a character that the show cant live without.she exploded on to the scene in 1999 as ebony the girlfriend of the baddie on the cult hit "the tribe"with a performance filled with such passion and fire.from her piercing stare to her commanding dominent voice this tiny girl has demanded the attention of every viewer.over the past couple of years meryl has really grown up giving birth to her first child (congrats to her by the way)she is still very young and i think if she were to come to hollywood and deliver the kind of performance that has captivated every tribe fan for the last 7 years,they would gladely role out the welcome wagon for somone who has such a strong and amazing presence......i am pretty sure if she were to walk into a audition room jaws would drop.

if you are looking for raw amazing acting talent you would not think to look for it on a scifi original show.....you would be so wrong!!!!!james callis among the rest of the bsg cast are amazing,but somthing about this guy stands out from the rest...

if you are looking for raw amazing acting talent you would not think to look for it on a scifi original show.....you would be so wrong!!!!!james callis among the rest of the bsg cast are amazing,but somthing about this guy stands out from the rest for some reason.i mean is character is totally hateable but at the same time so relatable in many circumstances.but his best feature that really makes you feel for him are his eyes...expecially when he is having an emotional moment,when they are full of tears yet still piercing through so intensely....its kinda a raw look into his soul.that is a trait that you rarely come accross on tv these days.bottom line this guy is great and if they ever kicked him off of bsg i would totally stop watching the show.....

as an actress she is washed out and pretty forgetable....having said that she is not a bad actress,just not a good one1!!!her role as asha worked for her(dark angel)cuz it was small,and no matter what she did she still had michael...

as an actress she is washed out and pretty forgetable....having said that she is not a bad actress,just not a good one1!!!her role as asha worked for her(dark angel)cuz it was small,and no matter what she did she still had michael weatherly,jessica alba to boost her performance ~a bit.but as a leading lady she is quite terrible.on jericho expecially....she is just to subtle for a role like that(whitch is why birds of prey failed)she lacks the emotions that should really bring out a scene(like the standoff with the prisoners in episode two of jericho)she is young so maybe her acting range will improve as she matures......definetly a ashley who??
