Man life gets crazy. So I have had a lot of crap going on. Most of it has been sweet. The baby is coming soon now and things should get real interesting. I am excited, but nervous. Hopefully everything goes well. The wife is really ready.

I havent been gaming as much as I had hoped. I did finish Time Shift which was very average. I also finished Devil May Cry 4. I was pleasantly surprised. Fun action game with difficulty bordering on the first game. I would recommend it for hard core gamers. I will be starting Condemned 2 soon. I cant wait as the first one was nuts. Hopefully it packs on the chills and thrills. Then it will be on to my own copy of GTAIV. Cant wait.

As for music, I have been listening to so much. Here are some thoughts:

The Roots - Rising Down - Very good. Love the appearances by Mos Def and Talib Qweli.

Coldplay - Vida la Vida - Worst album for Coldplay so far. SOunds very U2ish. They have become so big that I dont think they will ever recapture the sound of their first two albums which are two of my all time faves. Sucks.

Death Cab for Cutie - Very good. None of the songs are as good as Crooked Teeth or Sould Meets Body off Plans, but it still has a lot of good stuff to enjoy.

The Kooks - Konk - This is my surprise album of the year so far. ROcking beats and great hooks really make this a listen over and over classic. No real weak tunes on this one. Must buy.

My Morning Jacket - Evil Urges - I absolutely love the faster songs on this album. The slower songs are not my style, but there are three or four absolutely great clips on here. Check out I'm Amazed and Touch Me I am going to Scream part 1 and 2.
