I know it has been a while my peeps, but I have returned to blog again. What is going on in the life of T-Rock? Well so many things I cant even hope to address them all. Let me go in order of importance.
Baby time! Yes most of you know my wife and I are having a baby in July. Things are moving right along on that front. The wife has balooned according to plan and so have I. I am constantly cooking, likely one of the culprits for less gaming time. The baby is roughly 2 pounds now and moving like a MMA champion inside the belly. Its very cool. Today we went to Baby's R Us to register for our showers coming up soon. All I can say is HOLY CRAP! So much baby stuff. I mean WTF. Where was all this stuff when I was a kid?! What an industry. I have so little clue as to what I need, but Baby R Us employee's are happy to tell you that you need EVERYTHING!!!!!!! Needless to say our little baby boy will be spoiled in ways I could never imagine.
The second life changing event is our house buying/selling. We are almost done. OUr closing ceremonies are at the end of April and we should be fully moved in by May 2. I have decided to switch to Verizon's FIOS at the recommendation of so many people. I called last week in hopes to get it turned on on our move date of May 1. That wasnt even close. May 6 is the first date they have available. That liks 3 weeks out!!!! What the hell. How about hiring so more installers for God's sake. Oh well, so I will be without internet for 5 days. Hopefully I dont die.
I did get soime great news in that I won two NCAA tourney pools and received some extra cash for my basketball genius/luck. This is good because money is something we will need plenty of in the coming months. The Cubs have begun their 2008 season and so far so good. 12-6 is their best start since 2004 and their offense, a big problem last year, has really been solid. Perhaps this could be the year the Cubs finally get back to the World Series, but then again they are the Cubs. They will find ways to lose.
As for gaming, well I havent had the time to play much. I have continued with Assassin's Creed. Very cool game, but getting repetitive. I love the grfx and fighting is very smooth once you get the hang of it. I just wish some of the missions were a little varied. I still jump on for COD4. I downloaded the new maps and they are pretty cool. Definitely injects some newness to the game. Thank you Infinity Ward. Also, I downloaded first 4 episodes of Voltron on Xbox. SWEET! So takes me back to childhood. Love the XBOX live.
Hopefully everyone out there is doing well and getting their games on!!!!!!!!! PEACE!
