This movie takes time to grow on you but after a while it is a very interesting and engaging story. The main character's obsession with bringing back the one he loves is only made more real by Pearce's performance. Later in the movie it begins to get weird but when you think about it, the evolutionary ideas are great (how the people underground evolved differently than those above). Overall, a movie that could have been better.
