BLACKOUT:

One of the most important things to come out of this (for me anyway) is the re-emergence of some sense of community....

I hope that the Blackout achieves some of what we all seem to be asking for!!

In response to yesterday's Blackout here are the top 5 changes I would like to see here at tv.com:

1. Get rid of the the blinding white background... its hard on the eyes and in conjunction with the tiny grey font it makes the comment section of the blogs virtually impossible to read without developing some kind of headache.

2. Make submitting to show/people guides easier - admittedly Im a novice to this but I find it more difficult now and even the more experienced subbers than I are not happy.

3. Sort out the blogs!! I enjoy blogging... but again I have now way of editing my blog (without running over to movietome - again! ... no formatting options, no way of inserting pics, links or even allow me to see pg2 onwards when it comes to comments!! etc...

4. Show more of my friends blogs... Im not a person who has a huge number of blogs to keep track of but 4 isnt enough!

5. Bring back the smileys in comments... I know its silly.. but its FUN... and isnt that what this site should be most of all... a place to enjoy ourselves while talking about the shows that matter to us...

This is my goodbye blog just before the blackout... I'll be back on the 1st October and will be here until this evening.. but **raises right hand** I promise to stay away for the whole of the 30th.. its gonna be hard but i really think that if u have any grumbles with the current format then u have to voice your opinion in some kind of organised way.. so if the bugs are still hacking you off.. join us.. if not and all is perfect in your tv.com world then log in as normal.. just dont grumble about the formatting issues, the new design or anything...

Good News: I now have a shiny new pc.. its fabby... so quick.. and much to my surprise im liking Vista!!

TV: Im back downloading my fave shows.. I just cant wait for them to reach our shores:

Supernatural:

I loved this eppi... im looking forward to seeing what the 66 seals story line is gonna bring... I looked everywhere for a pic of Bobby's panic room but no joy.. but i found this:

True Blood:

I havent read the books so I can be more objective that others... but im loving this... I adore the chemistry between Sookie and Bill and I think Anna Paquin is doing a good job.. but my fave character is Lafayette and im crossing my fingers that he doesnt get bumped off soon:

Dexter:

Im just hoping its gonna be as good as the previous last two series

Fringe:

Tuned in for the first 2 eppis... was okay... im gonna keep watching for a while and see

Merlin:

A BBC production... and lets be honest.. they are normally excellent at this kind of thing.. I enjoyed the first 2 eppis and am gonna keep tuning in... its an interesting take on the legend of Arthur.. and its always good to see Anthony Head back as a numpty

Lipstick Jungle:

A friend raved about this so am gonna give it a go.. im not hopeful tho.. seems too much like Sex and the City and I never got into that... but u never know....

CSI NY:

I know that the Vegas lot and the Miami lot will probably groan when the see this but I DON'T CARE ... I love all 3 but this franchise is my fave... u just cant go wrong with Gary Sinise and Eddie Cahill

Chuck:

Returns tonight.. and Im so excited.. its all I can do not to *Squeeeeee* out loud ....
