Oprah Winfrey is an American icon living the American dream. She rose out of poverty to become one of the most influential people in America who has a huge following and fan base. She is one of the most successful women in America, having started her own magazine, book club and not to mention a top rated TV show seen by millions of viewers everday.

Oprah has the ability to reach out to her viewers. Because of her past, Oprah can relate to her guests and truly knows what they go through. She can get down to the raw emotions of the guests and their stories and portray those emotions to the studio audience and the national TV audience. She is very open and will talk about everything with her audience or guests, no matter how touchy the topic.

Oprah is also a very influential person. When she said she wouldn't eat beef during the Mad Cow scare, millions of people didn't eat meat along with her. If she says she loves an author or a book, it instantly becomes a best seller because everyone wants to see why Oprah likes it so much.

Besides being a great TV host, Oprah is a great actress that has been in several movies. Her role in The Color Purple was my favorite because she was so good in that role and seemed so natural like she wasn't even acting.

There are a million more things that make Oprah a great person but this review could go on forever. Oprah is a great person and an American icon and will continue to be for many years.

Tom Cruise is an all right actor. He was great in Top Gun and Cocktail and I even liked him in Risky Business. He was also great in Jerry McGuire but between that and the others I mentioned, I haven't liked him in anything else.

Tom Cruise is crazy, in my opinion. I'm convinced he's bipolar, mostly after his couch jumping on Oprah. He advocates not using drugs to solve your problems, which is okay, everyone can have their stance on things, but eating right won't cure cancer or M.S. If anyone needs drugs its him, and he's one person that won't take them.

I do like his work ethic and how he says he'd do any movie without a written contract and how he'd even do it for free. That's something you rarely actors and actresses who just want more and more for the films they do just because they're on the "A-List" But that's not enough for me to really like him. It's been awhile since he's been in anything I've truly enjoyed. Maybe once that happens, I'll like him again but until then, he's just another bi-polar, mediocre actor.

Cillian Murphy is a great actor. His ability to play a twisted villian is something that you don't see much nowdays. I liked him in Batman Begins as the Scarecrow guy and I'm looking forward to see him in the upcoming film, Red Eye. He delivers...

Cillian Murphy is a great actor. His ability to play a twisted villian is something that you don't see much nowdays. I liked him in Batman Begins as the Scarecrow guy and I'm looking forward to see him in the upcoming film, Red Eye. He delivers all of his lines naturally and never seems like he's acting, which makes him one of my personal favorite villinous actors.

John Lennon is one of my all time favorite musicians. He was great as a Beatle and great with Yoko Ono in the Plastic Ono Band. He was a great artist that helped music change and develop thoughout the years that he was alive. Together with Yoko Ono, Lennon made new and different music, unheard until their time. Imagine is one of the greatest songs ever. It's a shame that his life was ended before his time and how the world missed out on all of the music he never got to make. A truly great artist and song writer.
