Bitten

First of all, I'm a very laid back and patient type of guy. I think this is one of the reasons me and my girlfriend get along pretty well (most of the time). She's the loud, very outgoing, loose cannon type and I am the laid back, chill type... we seem to compliment each other. With that being said, I don't think I have ever paid $60 for a game... I'm not one who has to have a game the day it comes out. Mainly because I normally have too many games that I haven't finished already so why not wait a month or so till the price drops $15 - $20?

As you all know, I try to comment on everyones blogs (sorry if I miss you)... I scroll through the updates almost everyday, reading, commenting and I have to say... this week hasn't been very entertaining... mainly because 95% of the blogs I've read have been about Modern Warfare 2! Countless blogs about how great the game is, which multiplayer level your on, how much fun your having and blah blah blah. Even blogs that aren't focused on MW2 mention MW2 somewhere in there.. its rediculous! Even one of my best friends who hasn't played his 360 in well over 6 months went out and got the game! That pushed me over the edge... I still didn't want to spend $60 on the game so last night on the way home from the gym I stopped by blockbuster and picked it up. Suprisingly, they had plenty of copies.. I guess since most people purchased the game.

I got home, popped the game in and hooked up with my buddy to play some multiplayer... I have to admit, the game is incredible... we had a blast! I enjoyed the first MW but this one is definitely improved in my opinion. I love the new maps, the atmosphere of the game, weapons... just everything all around is great. I consider myself bitten by the MW2 bug. Now I see what everyone is freaking out about! While most games I would not have paid $60 for, this one I would. But I'm still not going to pay $60 for it - If you still haven't bought the game, I'll let you in on a deal going on right now til Monday 11/16... go to newegg.com and order the game... they are having a veterans day sale where you get $5 off plus free shipping... lasts til Monday only so go check it out. Great site with great deals, it is safe, I've bought from there several times so no worries.

For those of you already playing, if I'm not on your friends list, add me. I will be playing a lot this weekend, take care everyone

PS: One more thing for those of you who have played through the campaign...WITHOUT SPOILERS PLEASE, is some of the content really that bad? I can't remember a game that actually gave me the option to skip levels because of the content.....

Biggest Fan of FO

Well, since the wonderful game we all know as Fallout 3 has been released as a Game Of The Year edition with all DLC included.... Bethesda decided to give all of us fans who already bought all the DLC's a free premium theme. Well I got the email with my redeem code, popped it in and vualah, I got a sweet new theme!

So, the next day I get another email... it says that the code I received the day before, might not work so they gave me another code.... well my original code worked fine... so now I have an extra redeem code for a premium theme that I already have. Since my fellow gamespot gamers here are cool people, I decided to give it away.

Alright, I can't guarantee that it will work but I haven't input the code so I don't see any reason why it wouldn't. Here's how we'll do it... post a message on here if your interested and add me to Xbox Live. My Gamertag is WarDeciple - then I will randomly select someone and give you the code. Good luck!

(Let's be cool about it... if you don't have the game, don't like it, don't have Xbox Live or already have the theme, then please don't ask for it)

theslimdavylp must really love MovieTome and agree with every review we've ever written! What other reason could theslimdavylp possibly have for not rating a single film?
