Well, today I finally go around to beat GTA IV (for the trophies of course) and it was amazing, I regret not finishing it earlier. It is by far one of the best games I have ever played. I decided to do both endings, and both of them were fantastic.
I am also starting to play Resistance 2 reugularly, I am a Sergaent right now, what are your guys ranks? Anyway, thanks for reading.

I stuck to the story and got it finished at around 23 hours. It's actually pretty easy to do. I got two trophies for it, one for completing the story and another for under 30

Grand Theft Auto IV is a gem that was dirtied by hype.
People just need to not be so easily influenced by what others say, and maybe they'd enjoy things more and at their own pace.
Glad you beat the game.
I still need to pick up R2 though, but to be honest, it isn't my highest priority. I'm just not interested in any games available right now, except for MAYBE Fallout 3.

It took me lke 14 hours to beat the game and lke 13 hours to beat it the second time.....did you get all of the trophies??

I bought GTAIV last week and I'm pretty Impressed as well.
Driving etc has been changed which made people go crazy lol but yeah great game

I still haven't finished GTA IV, it's one of the few games that I bought and never finished, I just got to the point where I was supposed to help a convict from prison. To blow up his prison truck inside a tunnel then I had it. I invested around 40 hours on that game and it just doesn't want to end. There is nothing much going on, you're just running in circles as the story doesn't evolve 
. Might go back and finish it one day though.

Best game ever? I really need to see what everyone is talking about...
How many hours did it take you to beat GTAIV? Did you wander around a lot? Or did you stick to the story?
Sorry I want to know so when I get it, I can try to get the "Under 30 Hours" trophy.
