I've actually never blogged here before, but i thought this was as good a reason as any to start.

The game is quite a bit of fun. I like the art style, and the classes seem balanced well enough.

The thing that bothers me, however, is the lack of customization that it was supposed to have so much of. i realize that this is just the beta, but i'de like to be able to get more than 1 shirt before getting to level 10 (im currently 8, btw). My other major problem lies within the scoring system. im not exactly sure how it works, but from what i can tell, each team starts with 50 points and those points go away as people die. what i dont understand, is what flags have to do with anything. my teams frequently loose with control of 3, or even all 4 flags. it seems to me that besides controlling spawn location, they have no influence on the outcome of the game. Which brings me to my third complaint. spawn camping. because you can only spawn at flags you control, a group of players can choose to stand near a flag, whithout capping it, and kill you repeatedly as you appear before them.

now that im done complaining, how about some positives? i like the vehicles alot. the jeeps are useful for getting from A to B and trying to run people over (although this almost NEVER works). and the tanks are all relatively fast, and can do good damage to people and other vehicles. im not very good with the planes, but they seem to work well enough. Another major plus is the skills you get as you level up, and your ability to choose which ones you use. you can play commando and put points in elixer to make you fast enough to chase people down with a knife, or points in penetration (i think thats what its called) to make you a better sniper. the only drawback is that at level 1, not only will you not know what you're doing, but you'll be significantly worse off than everyone else.

oh and one more (somewhat minor) complaint. why do bullets do so little damage? it take 3, sometimes 4 shots from a sniper rifel to kill someone.
