what the heck

i did the debug menu on ssbm and everything with ar but crazy hand and master hand dont move. why? does anybody know?

I remember having to use certain button combinations to make them attack, but I'm not so sure how to actually move.

STOP USING ACTION REPLAY, you cheapskate! If you can't beat Master Hand and Crazy Hand, don't cheat for it. It's actually quite easy.

No, it's not that, debug mode is something where you just mess around and do things you weren't supposed to do (become Giga Bowser, Sandbag, Male wireframes, become 5x bigger than you'd normally be, go to Adventure Mode stages on multiplayer, that kind of stuff). Besides, it'd probably damage the memory for your memory card for this game.
