GAMES: GameSpot GameFAQs MOVIES: Metacritic Movietome Comic-Con
Hello everybody. This is my blog, obviously. I mosly talk about games, but I may talk of other interesting things on the news or the like as well. The systems I play are PS3, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS, and occasionally PC (But that is very unlikely because my PC is terrible in terms of gaming). If you post on my blog, I will most likely post a comment on yours as well. Happy gaming, everyone. -Tennis12master

Well, he's not exactly an enemy. I'm just feeling really annoyed at a once- good friend of mine; Nowadays I really don't want to even be associated with him. Let's just call him... Alex, for the time being.

So. My 'friend', Alex, was once a very good buddy of mine. From elementary school to 7th grade, we were pretty much best friends. But now... I don't even want to be in the same room as the guy. Over the years from 8th grade to our current year in High School (10th) we went our opposite ways, him becoming friends with other people, me becoming friends with others... and Alex has chosen the wrong friends, it seems. Alex, my once good friend, is now a drug addict, pervert, social nutjob, and just not a very nice person. The past year, he's been somewhat annoying, because he and his other crack-addict friends have been bothering my girlfriend and I. I told them to stop, but they just won't listen. It's very annoying, to tell you the truth. I care very much about Marisa's safety, and I don't want them to harm or bother her. Well now, I realize that what Alex was doing before, is actually favorable, compared to what he just did yesterday.

I'll just go right out, and plainly say it. Alex, my once good friend, hit my girlfriend. He hit her. On her face, during lunch period.

As you can imagine, when I heard this news, I was infuriated. How could he hit my girlfriend? It's just... So goddamn infuriating. It wasn't terribly hard, but still, he freakin' hit Marisa. How could he do this? How the hell can anybody live with themselves knowing that they're a pot-smoking, drug-loving jerk, and then go right out and hit a girl? I just don't understand it. I really hope Alex gets what he deserves, because he's a huge jerk, if you havn't gotten that by now.

If you didn't know this about me, I'll tell you right now. I am a pacifist. I oppose war, fighting, and violence of any kind to solve our problems. It's just plain wrong, and is a very stupid way to solve disputes. So as you can see, I have no inclination to go out and kick Alex's ass right now. It would not solve anything. Hell, it would make things worse, because he'd probably bug me and my girlfriend even more. But I really am not sure what to do. Should I go up to Alex, and say that what he did was wrong, and never do it again? Or should I just let the matter slide by? I'm really not sure.

If you think what I'm complaining about is no big deal, well, then you obviously have never been in this sort of situation before. All that will happen from this is that things will get worse. Alex will become more confident, and trust me, things will get worse. So how do I prevent him from doing anything bad like this again? I'd really like your input on this matter.

-Matt

(By the way, I almost forgot to mention this. Alex's girlfriend is close friends with Marisa, and his girlfriend apoligized for him to Marisa. Wow. All I have to say, is wow.. He doesn't even have the guts to apoligize to my girlfriend. It really shows a lot about a person, whether they apoligize about a wrong they commited.)

Hey guys. Thanks to AlmightyMax, I've been tagged. Is that a good thing, or a bad thing...?

Nah, it's a good thing. I was wanting to post another blog recently anyway, but I didn't know what to write about. Thanks for the excuse, Max.

Well, here we go. Ten facts about me:

1. I have a terribly difficult time with Math in school. I'm taking a math class called 'Algebra1B' with 12 or 13 other people in my grade included in the class. It's basically the other half of the Algebra course, which last year was called Algebra 1A. Yep... Me and the others in my class are quite terrible at math.

2. I went to the Homecoming dance with my girlfriend a few days ago, and it was actually a lot of fun (Keep in mind that I don't really know how to dance, and I was really nervous about going.. But luckily I started to dance eventually, and things got better)

3. I am a Strong Agnostic. This means that I believe that I cannot possibly know whether a God or any higher being exists or not, and neither can anyone else. I'm not trying to offend anyone here, this is just my belief. So if you don't like it, scram.

4. The reason my family does not go to church is because my grandfather died soon after I was born. My mother was full of sadness from her father's death, and so we never got the chance to go to church. In many ways, I'm glad that we never got to go, but in other ways, I'm not as glad. I'll explain the details some other time...

5. I play tennis a few times a week. It used to be only once or twice a week.. Hopefully by doing this I can eventually become a really good tennis player, and become famous.. Ah, but those are only hopes and dreams..

6. Playing video games calms me down. If I'm feeling stressed or upset, after playing a game, I feel alot better. And that is why I sometimes play video games for many hours at a time... Hey, it's better than drugs and alcohol!

7. Although even if I didn't have any video games in my life, I still wouldn't do any of that crap (drugs, alcohol, etc.) because I've taken a pledge to myself to avoid any of that. It's just plain wrong, and it can seriously screw up your life, or the lives of others around you.

8. I dislike social networking sites, even though I do have a Facebook account. I'm somewhat forced to use it.

9. Unlike Max, I actually like using smiley faces sometimes!!

10. I still havn't posted that video blog of games that I own for the PS3. I apoligize!

And that's it! Hope ya liked those facts about myself. See ya on the interwebz..

-Peace, Matt

(P.S. Uncharted 2 kicks ass. I'm goin' for the Platinum Trophy now.)

Uncharted 2

(P.P.S. I recently went by Gamestop to trade in some games. I returned inFamous (PS3), Prince of Persia (PS3), Resident Evil 5 (PS3), Spiderman 3 (Wii), and Sonic and The Secret Rings (Wii). By trading these in, I reserved a copy of Modern Warfare 2.. And I don't have to pay a cent for the game! Actually, the gentleman at the desk told me that I actually get a penny back from returning those games! Hm.. What to do with 1 cent of Gamestop credit.... Any ideas?)

Hey y'all. Just wanted to say a few things, before I go off to sleep so I can be awake for tomorrow... Monday. Argh.

So. Uncharted 2. Awesome game, a little disapointing in the single-player story. I'll give you all a review in the next few days, if I feel like it.

I'm giving my girlfriend a small surprise tomorrow.. A mini pumpkin! I bought it because my family was out pumpkin-shopping, so in the good ol' Halloween spirit, I got a mini pumpkin. I hope she likes it.

Moving on..

I'll probably be posting a couple videos here in a new blog soon, one of them showing you guys how much I fail at Super Smash Brothers Brawl, and the other showing you my gaming collection. If I have enough time, hopefully I'll be able to post both of these by wednesday.. Cross your fingers and hope I don't have too much schoolwork to finish. Homework last week was hell.. I had 3 projects to finish, all due by friday. Luckily I finished them all though.

Well, that's it for now. Short blog post. Anyway, I'll catch y'all later, I got some Z's to catch.

Peace, -Matt
