One of the better guitarist around right now. And not a bad looking guy either.

No More Titles?

I really think that I've run out of titles for my blogs. I normally end it with 'other things'. Maybe I'll start all over and say 'Blog 1...with other things'. I doubt that would last since my attention span is pretty much crap. Well if you have an idea for what a good title would be, I'm taking suggestions.

Speaking of music...

Guitar Lessons

I own 3 or 4 guitars. 3 were given to me and one I bought on my own. One is electric (Ibanez) and the rest are all acoustic.

The other day we got something in the mail. It was a mailer from my old alma mater (high school) and they have these Adult Education c.lasses. Well I was flipping through it a and bam right there at the bottom, 8 weeks of Guitar Lessons for $45. So next week Ill register and finally learn how to play the damn thing.

They'll be teaching us how to read the notes, learn the notes on the guitar, finger placement and all that good stuff. I've had guitar lessons before, but the girl was really impatient.

Fall TV Schedule

Sundays

Desperate Housewives

September 27 - ABC - 9pm

-Last season was not a good season for me. this one better be. But there is no Edie.

Dexter

September 27 - SHO - 9pm

-Last season was alright. I'm one of those people that hate it when onscreen characters get married. Sometimes it kills the show. Hopefully this time that won't happen. Great show here.

Mondays

House

September 21 - FOX - 8pm

-Last season fell a bit flat for me. This season's preview looks good.

Tuesdays

The Forgotten

September 22 - ABC - 9pm

-It's a new show. This means I'll never see episode 1. I do like the premise though.

TVdotCom wrote:
The bodies narrate as a team of amateur detectives solve their murders.

Wednesdays

Law & Order SVU

September 23 - NBC - 9pm

-Great show that makes you want to be a vigilante.

Eastwick

September 23 - ABC - 10pm

-It's a show about witches or something along those lines. I'll watch it just for that.

TVdotCom wrote:
Three hot divorcees consort with the devil in a new comedy based on the 1987 film.

Fridays

Batman: The Brave and the Bold

Novmeber 14 - Cartoon Network - 7:30pm

-The cheese returns baby!

Smallville

September 25 - CW - 8pm

-The show might die at this time slot, but with ZOD being there, hopefully not.

That's what this lady will be watching.

Gaming stuff

Nada. Nothing to report just yet.

Thanks for perusing my blog

NO ideas for titles? Do what i do and say the first stupid thing that comes to yur mind, dont think about it, just type. Good luck with the guitar lessons and very similar watching habits as myself this fall. Still not sure about "Eastwick" tho, seems a little too Desperate Housewife-y to me, but if its like "Charmed", count me it. Later .

I want to learn guitar lessons. That sounds like fun.
Posted Sep 4, 2009 6:34 pm PT
Good luck learning guitar. I personally hated playing the guitar, but that is just me I think I'll stick to just listening to it
Posted Sep 4, 2009 7:49 pm PT
Titles/topics can be as easy as a play on words to something that you mention in the blog itself. I'm sure mine have sounded corny in the past.
Posted Sep 4, 2009 8:28 pm PT
Guitar guy looks good eh......Yea if your into that crow, gay zombie vampire look lol! I agree wb is killing of smallville why else the timeslot of death?
Posted Sep 4, 2009 8:42 pm PT
MarWash, if I do that, then everyone would know the inner workings of this lady's mind.

Thank you. Eastwick, since it's based on the movie, should hopefully be very, very dark.

Posted Sep 4, 2009 9:33 pm PT
Yagr_Zero, it can be. And sometimes it can be utterly boring.

McMJ3, thank you. I really hope it works out this time. And listening to it makes me want to learn it more.

Posted Sep 4, 2009 9:35 pm PT
hart704, I'll think about that. and yours aren't corny, they are cool really.

danharr, I'll take that look over a guy in a suit and well groomed any day.

That timeslot of death makes me a bit angry. They can bring back Melrose Place (the re-makes need to stop), but can't put them in a viable time slot, shame on CW.

Try to write interesting title and Good luck learning guitar and i like Smallville,Dexter,Desperate Housewives and do you like heroes, lost, terminator the sara ....,breaking bad,mad men, kyle xy, the simpsons, south park, family guy, nip/tuck,galactica ....? :p saw all of them

Good luck with you guitter lessons

XO XO

Posted Sep 5, 2009 7:10 am PT
syler4815162342, thank you.
And I liked The Sarah Connor Chronicles because of Lena Headey. She's a fantastic actress.

As for the others, Heroes, Lost, The Simpsons, South Park and Family Guy, are shows I either don't enjoy or rarely watch.

Breaking Bad, Mad Men, Kyle Xy, Nip/Tuck and Galactica are all good shows that I don't watch at all.

LadyInque, thank you.
Posted Sep 5, 2009 9:39 am PT
Why you don't watch them at all if they are good?
Posted Sep 5, 2009 10:25 am PT
They tend to come on at times where I'm watching something else. Kyle XY (which is dead now) came on Mondays, I watch wrestling on Mondays. I rarely switch the station.

Mad Men airs on Sundays when I would watch Dexter.
Nip/Tuck keeps changing their damn time slot. As for Galactica, I rarely watch Sci-fi dramas and I never know when it's one.

Good luck with the guitar lessons! That's yet another one of those things that I told myself I'd get to one day but I never did although I always enjoyed taking guitars out and making the most horrific noise with them. My pitch perfect classically-trained piano playing GF at the time did not appreciate my efforts.
Posted Sep 5, 2009 12:11 pm PT
Thank you. I love making stupid sounds with them.
Posted Sep 5, 2009 12:36 pm PT
But i suggest you see the lost and heroes they are great TV shows
Posted Sep 5, 2009 2:47 pm PT
Yes, listening to it all the time is what made me want to try Unfortunately, it wasn't my thing. I'm sure it will work out better for you
Posted Sep 5, 2009 4:48 pm PT
syler4815162342, I tried watching both before and they did nothing for me really.

McMJ3, hopefully. And thank you.

Posted Sep 5, 2009 6:47 pm PT
Quitar lessons..maybe sometimes just to fill my time..(always actually interested on making some music on my own)..on the TV shows ..i like House..but I Love Smallville..was a really big fan of Lex but for f**k sakes he went off..(didnt die..gonsidering hes in superman returns)..like all stuff unnatural but havent heard of the Eastwick and if i havent heard its not so good haha..well see
Posted Sep 5, 2009 10:24 pm PT

Wait, they're dumping Smallville on Friday nights? I noticed they've been showing repeats of them during that time period, but I figured it was just filler. Why did they even bother bringing it back if they were going to do that? I guess this pretty much seals the deal that there won't be another season after this one, not that that's a bad thing. So now I've got two shows I watch going head-to-head on Thursdays at 9, but nothing to watch at 8. Great.

Good luck with the guitar. I never tried to learn it, although a friend of mine did. I did try learning the piano. It didn't go very well.

Posted Sep 6, 2009 4:35 am PT
Let us know how the guitar lessons go...that's one of my long-standing goals that I just haven't gotten around to yet. I play the piano (not well) and I don't know if that would make it easier to pick up guitar or not. Do you play anything else?
Posted Sep 6, 2009 10:57 am PT
I always run out of titles. That's why I often use song lyrics or quotes. I wish I had four guitars. I'll get one someday and hopefully will learn how to play. House is a good show, but I agree about the last season. BTW, I'm back after an eternity of being gone. Not sure when my next blog will be though.
Posted Sep 6, 2009 6:54 pm PT
Mildly unrelated, but have you listened to Alice in Chains new album at all, and if so, is it good?
Good luck with the lessons. I mostly taught myself bass, but my dad plays it too, so he helped get me going.
Posted Sep 7, 2009 6:58 am PT
Have fun learning the guitar. So you went numb on titles, huh? Well, sometimes just thinking randomly will bring a good one to you. Or maybe just tying something in like someone else said. I love Dexter, myself, so I hope this new season doesn't kill it.
Posted Sep 7, 2009 2:23 pm PT
loggens, I've wanted to make videos, but I have issues with patience. And if something doesn't work the first few times, I will break it.

Any songs you play on the guitar that was really easy to learn?

Smallville is a really good show. And Lex (the dude who plays him) wanted to move on to other things. And he's not Supe's only enemy either, there so many others. He's just the really popular one. I was glad to see Lana go though. God she was awful. Glad to know you like House. It is a good show.
I hope Eastwick is good myself.
Posted Sep 7, 2009 9:47 pm PT
enervator, unfortunately they are. They officially want to kill the show. I don't know why they put them there myself, because the show is very popular. I guess teens having sex each week on Mondays and then later on Tuesdays is more important.

Thank you. My mom tried to learn the piano too and it didn't go over well either.
Posted Sep 7, 2009 9:50 pm PT
millerem99, I've been putting it off way too long really. And I'll give updates on my progress. I have a feeling 'homework' will need to be done too.

I used to play the Clarinet when I was a kid. It didn't last long. Something happened that made me hate the instrument really.
Posted Sep 7, 2009 9:52 pm PT
DemonSlayerZea, oh my goodness, where in the world have you been? It's been what 3 or 4 months? Do tell.

I don't know what they were doing with last season's House. Half the time I was wondering, WHY!.

Posted Sep 7, 2009 9:54 pm PT
sporkman5353, I haven't heard it yet. I was hoping to find it streaming legally somewhere. Looks like some digging will have to happen for me.

Thank you. My friend told me bass is pretty hard. So kudos to you for learning it on your own.

Posted Sep 7, 2009 9:55 pm PT
Crulex1369, that I did. I figured I'll go with my favorite movie quotes and song lyrics for titles. And then basically post info about it in the blog.

I hope the learning will be good. And Dexter is so full of delicious evil awesomeness!

Posted Sep 7, 2009 9:57 pm PT
have a guitar took lessons but my Teacher bailed mid way through my lessons with out telling me so what are you going to do and i love watching Law and Order SVU that is my favorite out of all the Law and Orders. And i might watch the forgetten it seems okay but i rather watch Flash Forward that looks intersting
Posted Sep 8, 2009 3:47 pm PT
I havent actually never played quitar..well..maybe i have played sometimes but not a song..coz i dont know how
And i agree..Lana sucked ..i like....mm Lois better..just the ins and outs with the Lana relationship got on my nervs..
Posted Sep 8, 2009 9:59 pm PT
In regards to Smallville, the writers *SPOILER ALERT* killing Jimmy may also very well have killed the show. I'm still snarling over that one. Pft.

As for your gaming slot being blank, I bet come sometime today, you'll have something to blog about. I know I will.

Posted Sep 9, 2009 11:16 am PT
That guitarist lest hope its a guy
Posted Sep 10, 2009 1:32 pm PT
I can't even handle the brave and bold it's so bad lol
Posted Sep 10, 2009 11:16 pm PT
It was a busy summer. But in all actuality, it was mostly due to laziness and a temporary lack of interest that kept me off the site. This place seems to have become even deader that it was three months ago.
Posted Sep 11, 2009 10:59 am PT
JandSman, what a crap teacher to do something like that. That's so rude.

SVU is great, but the original L&O before McCoy left. Now it's just a revolving door of actors and actresses.

Flash Forward looks okay.
Posted Sep 11, 2009 5:43 pm PT
loggens, I think it was the acting by the person who played her. She was just terrible really.

Lois is alright. She's a better actress no doubt. And the relationship stuff was annoying at times.

Posted Sep 11, 2009 6:03 pm PT
theredrobin, why in the world would they kill him off? And he was a junior or something like Eddie Brock Jr. in Spiderman 3? I really don't get it myself. Did the dude who played Jimmy want to do other things or something of that nature.

Ah I get it. I'm not a Beatles person though. Now if it were a Judas Priest or Iron Maiden or Doors one, then I'd be excited.

Posted Sep 11, 2009 6:06 pm PT
rebelway, yes, but not too handsome. I have to learn.

westcoastwillam, it is pretty campy. But it gives us villains that we rarely see.

DemonSlayerZea, I hear yah. And a bunch of people left during the second re-design. Hope you stay though.
Posted Sep 11, 2009 6:09 pm PT
I'm planning on staying. To lazy to go to a different site.
Posted Sep 12, 2009 10:58 am PT
Excellent!
Posted Sep 12, 2009 6:43 pm PT
Wow. I will be watching Law & Order: SVU eleventh season. But, not all the other shows that you listed on there. You will see what other shows I will be watching Tuesday nights besides crappy ECW, which the only thing is good on the show is Tiffany, the general manager. Why it's crappy? Christian, Tommy Dreamer, William Regal, Vladimir Kozlov, and "Zeke" Jackson. On the other hand, it's boring too, because Paul Burchill is after Gregory Helms. Then of course Shemus, the highly pale Irish wrestler is not worth watching ECW. He disgraced Finlay by being the better Irish Wrestler. Let's not for get, "Woo Woo Boy" Zack Ryder. He is a pain in the a$$ and I wish he got released. Oh well.
Posted Sep 14, 2009 10:51 pm PT
ECW has been very good lately.
