He is one of my favorite rappers.
Everything he says is either hilarious because you know it can't be true or you get a shock and say it could be true.

Where did all the boom boxes go?

I went to Best Buy and some other places and there was no damn CD boom box 3 or 5 disc changer anywhere. And where did this lady have to go? I had to go to the place that my sister and I had sworn not to purchase things from.

They had the one I wanted by Sony and we plan on getting it next month. Has it really come to that? Has it? I don't want no damn iPOD (I have to buy one for my sister). I have an MP3 player that isn't even compatible with my Vista. I want to listen to music on CDs you bastards. Give me my CDS!!!!

Wow I really had to get that out. I'm very passionate about my CDs. I have over 1000. It's not like I want them all on my computer.

STOP the re-makes please!

Rob Zombie is going to remakethis.   And he's not going to re-make it with love, but he's going to not have it be the blob itself!

:
My intention is not to have a big red blobby thing -- that's the first thing I want to change, Zombie said. That gigantic Jello-looking thing might have been scary to audiences in the 1950s, but people would laugh now.

That's what made it cool.  It was jell-o but it was oh so scary.

Note to Hollywood, STOP killing my childhood. You've decided to re-make The Karate Kid into the Kung-Fu kid.  What the bloody hell?; And that's just the start.

Here are the rest:

The Crow
Buffy (the cheesy movie)
An American Werewolf In London
They Live
Suspiria
Oldboy
Flight of the Navigator
The Warriors
Dirty Dancing
The Host
Let the Right One In
Alien
Videodrome
Teen Wolf
Poltergeist
The Birds
Rosemary's Baby
Hellraiser

My God it never ends.

I swear one day someone is going to go up to these movie people tell them that they need to stop this ****.

Thanks for perusing my blog

Wha all those movies will be remakes?! Wow you got a lot of games and here I thought I was something with 5 platforms
Posted Aug 28, 2009 7:02 pm PT
Holy crap, but are you ever busy! That is an impressive amount of games and systems!
For the Sega Genesis, you should try to get Road Rash! It is hilarious.
Posted Aug 28, 2009 7:10 pm PT
Wow, that is a nice list!! It is also a long list.. ha..
Posted Aug 28, 2009 7:35 pm PT
Jeez, that's quite a collection. You'd probably win the prize for most sports games too

And 1000 CD's?! That's even awesom-er.
Posted Aug 28, 2009 7:38 pm PT
All those remakes?!?!?! jeje

XO XO

Posted Aug 28, 2009 7:42 pm PT
Is The Host the Korean movie that they're remaking? Oh, and got enough WWE/WWF/wrestling games? But boy do you have a lot of PS2 games
Posted Aug 28, 2009 7:51 pm PT

Steve McQueen starred in The Blob???

*adds fact to trivia list*

Posted Aug 28, 2009 8:53 pm PT
danharr, they are all in the first stages of it happening. They just need scripts. I don't know about this large about of games. Someone I read once had over 600.

LordKingboat, thank you. Eventually I'll buy more Sega Games.
Posted Aug 28, 2009 9:10 pm PT
McMJ3, that's flattering about the sports thing. Thank you. I made a list of them once. It was hard.

LadyInque, too many really.
And there are a bunch more too.

Posted Aug 28, 2009 9:12 pm PT
Yagr_Zero, yeah that's the Korean movie. I do own a lot of WWF/E games. I really wished the NWA and AWA made some.

s_h_a_d_o, he was so young too. I wonder why it's not in his box sets?

lol, thats some passion there. I feel you somewhat, even though i love my ipod+itunes i still purchase CDs from my favorite artists. Ever thought about getting a digital system? Its just like a cd changer, but for mp3's. Wow! You totally own my game collection. I wish i still had my Sega Genesis, it crapped out on me like 4years ago but i stil have my SNES . Later .
Posted Aug 28, 2009 10:35 pm PT

Wait, they're actually remaking all those movies? You've got to be kidding? And they're making The Blob without...The Blob? I still think the idea of some giant, indestructible red blob of jelly going around eating everything is pretty damn scary. There's no need to change the concept. I'm not sure how Rob Zombie became this movie expert anyway.

It seems like all Hollywood is doing these days is adapting Asian horror movies, which usually lose way too much in translation, or remaking 70s or 80s movies. How about a little originality? Why redo "They Live"? It still works fine as it is. Are you sure they're remaking the Buffy movie, and not doing a movie continuation of the series? I wouldn't mind the latter, but if they're redoing the original, then again, why? Plus they already remade Teen Wolf with Teen Wolf 2. This time they'll probably have Marty hunted by the government and experimented on.

Yeah - remakes can definitely burst the childhood bubble. I remember watching The Blob at my grandmother's house in 1973 [ I was an impressionable 7 y.o. at the time and had a vivid imagination ] and it scared the HELL out of me at the time. I was looking under the bed, at cracks under the doors, etc, for weeks afterward, waiting for that damn red jell-o to come and consume me like a big crimson amoeba. But not all remakes are bad. Some end up better than the original, as long as they tell the same story in a better fashion and don't go and bugger it all up by making basically a different movie by the same name.
Nice games list. I am pretty much exclusively PS2 with some PC games thrown in.
Posted Aug 29, 2009 5:11 am PT
I still love my Genesis, even of i dont play it any more.
Posted Aug 29, 2009 5:18 am PT
I use to have a genesis, PS1, PS2, Game Boy Advance, and a Game Boy Color, but I eventually sold them all over time. Now all I have is the PS3.
Posted Aug 29, 2009 8:33 am PT
nice list of games and systems.
Posted Aug 29, 2009 10:19 am PT
Wait, they're messing with Dirty Dancing?! That is criminal. "Nobody duplicates Baby," hahaha. Guess Hollywood has even less imagination than we thought. Pertaining to your game list, wow, that's quite a list...I still love tetris and Super Mario Brothers for Nintendo. For Christmas all I asked my husband for was a Gameboy. Got a diamond necklace instead...oh, well
Posted Aug 29, 2009 1:36 pm PT
o_O

When you said you had a huge PS2 list you weren't kidding.

Man that game list of yours makes me lookl like an amateur.
Posted Aug 29, 2009 2:11 pm PT
And I thought I had a game store in my room! Wow! But....no Crazy Taxi for Dreamcast? I just have a SNES and DS, but you've got me beat by just with the PS2, PS and PSP systems. Remaking Alien, The Warriors and THE CROW is a mistake. They need to stop screwing with classics. Your MP3 isn't working on a vista? What kind do you have? You should get a Jukeman, they work on everything and are better than those overrated Ipods and Iphones.
Posted Aug 29, 2009 3:03 pm PT
MarWash, lots of passion.
I don't want one yet. I do want to get a Sony or a Zune or something not by Apple for the MP3. I still want my CD Boom Box though.

I've never owned an SNES, I might one one of these days.

Posted Aug 29, 2009 6:38 pm PT
enervator, yes they are. Yes, how can you leave The Blob out of it? He became a horror movie expert because he owns almost every horror movie ever made. That's a genre fan there.

They wanted to get SMG and David Boreanez. they either turned it down or decided if Josh wasn't in it (because he wrote the original movie, but the directors changed it around) that they didn't want to have anything to do with it.

Teen Wolf 2 was so terrible. They really need to stop.
Posted Aug 29, 2009 6:41 pm PT
ChristerDoo, your name reminds me of a Ducktales character SuperDoo.

That 1973 was the re-make of the 1958 version. And when I saw it in the 80's it scared me because I too wanted to know where that gelatinous goo was.

I don't have any PC games. She's not powerful enough yet.
Posted Aug 29, 2009 6:52 pm PT
mrhuntin, SEGA was and is so good. I love my Genesis myself.

SkinsFan2189, why'd you sell them? I sold my PS1 twice because they stopped working. And they took them back!

Posted Aug 29, 2009 6:54 pm PT
EA_GUY, thank you.

millerem99, yes they are. Who will be able to dance as good as Mr. Swayze? Who pray tell, who will they get.

Thank you. And "Diamonds are a girl's best friend."
Posted Aug 29, 2009 6:56 pm PT
lightning_kf, I'm sure you have a lot of games. I tried to have continuity too.

Crulex1369, I bought an Iriver. It's 20G too. I got it because I like that company. But dammit with this new computer it's not compatible. I was so pissed! I would like to sell it to someone who can use it.

I played Crazy Taxi and I didn't like it. And I am not a fan of times game. I agree, stop the re-makes of some of these movies.
Posted Aug 29, 2009 6:58 pm PT
Wow you are really a veteran gamer
Posted Aug 30, 2009 5:17 am PT
Ha - actually ChristerDoo was what all the girls in first year uni called me - this was before DuckTales, which was definitely past my cartoon watching prime. In those days I was watching Flintstones, Rocket Robin Hood, Hercules, Jetsons, Fat Albert, Scooby-Doo and uncut Looney Tunes/ Merrie Melodies, etc. Of course now I watch cartoons all the time, but they are now more properly called anime and I will never get tired of these.
Posted Aug 30, 2009 6:11 am PT
O.O O.O O.O
Nice list..i had 2 of the same consoles here..the black for NEs i think and some gray ..i almoust seen all the remakes movies and..dont know..i liked some of em..
Posted Aug 30, 2009 11:07 pm PT
The whole issue with finding boomboxes? Same goes for VCRs. And guess what friendly neighborhood chain did have them?

What the frack? They're remaking Dirty Dancing? Wasn't the "sequel" from a couple years ago enough? Crimany.

Posted Aug 31, 2009 9:30 am PT
syler4815162342, my mom said I started in 1985. so I was 7. Crazy huh? What else is odd, no one in my entire family, male or female (extended included) plays them the way I do.
Posted Aug 31, 2009 12:24 pm PT
ChristerDoo, thanks for the explanation. You know it's so hard to find Anime on TV. I don't get that station that airs on other stations on DirecTV, which I have. And watching it online hurts my eyes. Me thinks I must find a way to watch them legally on DVD.
Posted Aug 31, 2009 12:30 pm PT
loggens, I remember the NES systems being in two different colors. I never owned on though. Re-makes I think just need to stop for now. Some might be good and some might be bad, but they need to be original.
Posted Aug 31, 2009 12:31 pm PT
theredrobin, was it Wal-Mart? Why do they get everything?
And that DD2 movie was God awful. It has to stop!
Posted Aug 31, 2009 12:32 pm PT
