Aqua turned out to be on of the 90'tis most memorable bands and with 85 million sold albums and singles in the world they became the best selling band in the history of Denmark. The sales was noticeable in the Danish economic making Aqua a great trademark for Denmark. The band sadly came to an end in 2001, when the members called it quits, leaving millions of fans confused as the band had been working on a third album released and had been touring up until the break-up. many thought the love situation Between Søren and lead singer Lene was the cause of the break-up, a rumour the singers have all denied ever sins. After the break-up all the members of the band have had some what successful careers. "Barbi Girl" is to this date still one of the top 20 best singles sold in the UK, even thought it's been five years sins the break-up of Aqua. Thank you Aqua for the easy going pop music and the happy teenage memories of tunes like "Barbie girl", "Roses Are Red", "Doctor Jones", "Turn Back Time", "Cartoon Heroes" and "Around The World".
