One of my friends told my crush I liked him. He found out who i liked when I had a few friends over lat weekend. Then he asked why I wouldn't let my crush know. I mean, come on, is it really that hard to know why? I don't want him to think I'm weird. And i'm not used to being rejected since I've never asked anyone out before. Anyway, he said he'd do it for me and wouldn't take no for an answer. He called my crush and said he had to tell him something really important later. So I thought he's tell my crush on the phone at his house. On Monday my crush asked me, "What was that really important thing?" I played dumb and said, "I don't know. I guess I wasn't in the room when they mentioned it." Later the friend that was supposed to tell him came up to me and I said, "I thought you were going to tell him. He asked me about it in homeroom." He said he's tell him later. Next period came and my friend said, "He's known for a while and he doesn't like you." Then I thought, You could have lied about that. Oh and you know what else? He told my crush that if i ever asked him out and he said no...I'd cry. Now that was not necessary at all. Then later i was talking to one of my best friends about this and she said, "He's lying. Your crush never said he didn't like you. I was standing right there." So I confronted my other friend about this and he said, "Oh I didn't mean that. I meant that I didn't think  he liked you. I'm not totally sure." And that really didn't make me feel any better since he's one of my crush's closest friends so he knows my crush really well. Then he had the nerve to ask me if I'd ask my crush if he liked me. I swear that guy is an idiot. I don't know why i'm even friends with him.

Now I'm thinking, if my crush knew I liked him and hasn't asked me out by now, then he probably doesn't like me. When i told some of my friends this they said, "Not exactly." and left it at that. What? Do they think I'm stupid or something? I know they're just trying to make me feel better. At least my crush doesn't seem to mind the fact that i like him. Gah! I'm so confused.
