It's been pretty quiet on this front. It has not been hard to see that a number of decisions regarding the Naked Brothers Band have caused me some concern and annoyance, but I still have the same expectations for the content I did at the end of last season. Despite my negitvity over the last few weeks I am feeling extremely positive for the music and am eagerly anticipating any news regarding the 3rd album... and the album itself. The content of the show, i will not comment on, until I have a chance to judge it myself, but it must be said that it still has hope, but it has a few more hurdles to overcome as a resuilt of the bad decisions.

As for my staying here at TV.com, I only do so, so that I can hear the views of other viewersand share mine with them. For the past few weeks and for the next couple I will be involved in shifting my services and materials to another location. It has been evident to myself that TV.com has become secondary to everywhere else. The decision to shift the bulk of my operations was not taken lightly. TV.com's failure to respond to any of the concerns I had raised with them has been testamony enough that the user is not taken seriously. On top of that is the insult of a response we have recieved in regards to the new layout. On a whole there has been nothing serious that has been done, it pretty much looks exactly the same as it did when i first started hating it. I may decide that upon shifting all my material from here, that TV.com has outlived it's usefulness... but that will be decided at another time.

Well I hope that I have more news and am hopefully able to say something more positive about the Naked Brothers Band, but once again it is time that will tell.

Ka Kite,

Sam

Less than animated for the brothers
By Sam Hannagan
10 November 2008

I am finding it harder and harder to share any enthusiasm for this collection of movies of the Naked Brothers Band. I can not honestly say I have been this disappointed by something I have not seen yet as I have with these new installments of the Naked Brothers Band.

I have slammed the format for the season and I find myself with no other option but to do the same for animated special 'The Supetastic 6'. Due to the show being a 'mockumentry' there just is not the flexibility to make an entire episode animated and it feasible be realistic. There has to be some foreshadowing in 'Operation Mojo' and some build in during the episode itself. Without either it will certainly test the dedication of some of the original fans, alot of whom he feel put out already by the format.

Nickelodeon may be excited, but there are enough original fans who are less than enthused. Marjorie Cohn, Executive Vice President, Development and Original Programming of Nickelodeon Networks said "This season fans can experience The Naked Brothers Band in a variety of ways with the new movie, animated special and Nat and Alex's upcoming live national tour." My question now is what about last seasons fans, and the fans of the season before and the movie, this season seems to be focused on drawing in new fans there so far has been little to nothing to retain those who already are. It seems to me, that the more I analyze it, that i have to say something I am very reluctant to do so, but i feel it needs to be thrown into the public arena. The original fans have been sold out at the expense of a very risky strategy of drawing in new ones. I wish there was a better way to say it but frankly there isn't.

I wish it ended there, but there is more. The actual story line, it reminds me far to much of the basic plot for J.O.N.A.S trade dentist for jazz playing criminal and secret agents for superheros and I would say that all that has been done is animate J.O.N.A.S. I thought season one saw the end of bad plots and even worse plots, I appear to have been mistaken. Could this possibly be worse than 'A Man Needs A Maid'? The only thing i can see saving it from such a fate is the music, the main thing that is keeping the initials NBB credible. I certainly hope I am wrong, I want the show to succeed, the cast have enormous talent, but moves like this are no longer just a single step backwards, but running a hundred yards backwards.

At 2300 Hours on November 8th, 2008 Incumbent Prime Minister Helen Clark conceded defeat in New Zealands General Election signaling an end to the 'nanny state' of Helengrad and bucking the international trend and elected a Right Wing Government.

In a speech that was supposed to mirror the graciousness of John McCain's, Helen Clark announced she was conceding defeat after 9 years in power and standing down as Leader of the Labour Party. However the incumbent Clark could not contain her self and made one last jibe at John Key at the National Party hoping the policys she had made would not 'burn in the bonfire of a right wing government'. In what may be New Zealands answer to Barrack Obama, John Key made a passionate and cheerful speech in front of the Media and National Party faithful, both gracious to Helen Clark and cautious of the future. It is a moment many will remember.

I had the pleasure and the honour of not only scutaineering the election but supporting my country in change, and my MP who gave me the honour and the privilige of standing as her Youth Member of Parliament. The night went well, and I am happy to look as what I hope and believe is a bright future.

Jason Isaacs is my favourite british actor. His Role as Colonel Tavington in the patriot both gave me alot of respect for him and helped me dispise him. He suits the role of Lucius Malfoy in the Harry Potter movies it is just a pity the movies...

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
The Harry Potter Franchise has gone of a cliff. The first movie was barely watchable and then we are subject to much of the sameness through out. Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint once again did nothing for me in this movie and had me more...

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone
The book was great but this film in the politest term possible sucked. Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint were both largely unconvincing and seemed out of touch with the characters they were playing. The real stars of the movie were Tom Felton...
