Are you competing?

Will you be in the games Taisho? Last I heard you were doing well in your class. If you have free time and are able to roam the country, I may be able to find you places to see, what to eat, etc... A buddy of mine is from SK so I can ask him. Let me know and have fun.

It doesn't look like I'm competing (if this were a Taekwondo tournament, I would, but this is in Haidong Gumdo, a style I'm not nearly as familiar with). There's still almost a year and a half until then, though, so I might be able to learn enough between then and now to compete in the lower tiers.

And Noah, I'd appreciate some pointers, but I doubt I'll get a chance to leave the Seoul area.

Well I can ask where he is from. Im not sure the city. I work with him tonight so I can ask.

Be careful. I had a friend who went there when he was backpacking across the world... I think I remember him saying it was one of the more lawless countries he stopped in.

That's odd. I've looked into it and all the sources I've seen say it's pretty safe. There's the very real possibility of North Korean infilitrators, but otherwise I've only heard good things so far.
