This season is obviously a HUGE improvement from the past seasons!!! 
Duck, Oliver, and Stepney (so far) returned in the present season! Murdoch, Rosie, etc. seem to have more speaking roles in a way (again so far...).

I was also very surprised and extremely impressed. The CGI is magnificent.

Season 12 has very improved.

It seems better than Season 8 and most of S9 at least.
