I guess I did all of that worrying and stressing for nothing, because it turned out to be great!
My clas.ses are great and I have some really cool professors.
I already absolutely love the Computer Science department at my university.
The campus is easy to navigate and has a lot of nice spots to relax or do homework.
The people are friendly.
I already know some people from high school, which helps since I'm really shy...
It's just been all around great.
I'm excited for the clas.ses to pick up and get going.
On Wednesday of this week there's going to be a day where all of the clubs/organizations set up stands around or in the Memorial Union, and I think I'll go to that and learn about joining some clubs.
The only thing I'm worried about right now is making friends...
I'm happy with the friends I already have, but I feel like I should make some new ones too.
It'll be really hard since I'm very shy and self-conscious, but hopefully I'll meet people through clubs and stuff. That's how I met people in high school.
I'm planning on doing pep band, a concert band next semester, and I'm thinking about joining the computer club they have.
