Personally I dig the new look. Especially what they've done with the user pages, they're much easier to navigate now. What do you guys think?

This is a list of 20 out of the many games I'e played that I like enough to call my favorites. Here they are.

20. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3

Sure the Tony Hawk formula's starting to show its age now days, but 2001 is probably where the series hit its peak with Tony Hawk 3. THPS3 just has a ton of lasting value including the fantastic stage creator, create a skater and a wide variety of tricks up its sleeve. Skating around as a hobo or Wolverine is a plus.

19. Mario Kart

Here we have Mario Kart, a series anyone can play and anyone can have a blast with. I started out playing Mario Kart on the N64 with family and friends and it was always a lot of fun. The best quality entry in the series would definitely have to be Mario Kart DS. It's a great franchise despite its simplicty.

18. Galaxian

This is my retro title on the list. I prefer it to most all arcade hits, including Galaga, the technically superior twin of Galaxian.

17. Final Fantasy X

Yeah. Yeah that is an X at the end of Final Fantasy. I know everyones obsessed with Final Fantasy VII and VIII or whatever, but I havn't played those. This one's probably better anyway, the graphics don't look like **** No offense guys. Besides the great graphics, Final Fantasy X features a compelling story and a brilliant leveling manager called the sphere grid. You may be annoyed by Tidus initially, but in time he becomes a much more likable character.

16. Warcraft III

I've gotta be honest, I'm a big fan of real-time strategy games even if I'm not that great at them. Losing doesn't really phase me. Warcraft III is a great real time strategy mode with tons of multiplayer modes and maps and a nice campaign mode to boot.

15. Bully

Okay so yeah I chose to put Bully over Grand Theft Auto on my favorite games list. Shoot me. Steal my car, whatever. Grand Theft Auto is a great series, but when it comes down to it I enjoyed Rockstar's similar game Bully more. I don't know why, but I just really liked Bully. It's magical. Plus I got a free dodgeball and game case shaped like a locker with it.

14. X Men Legends

I wasn't a fan of the X Men at all when I got this game, but I was told about it and it sounded like fun, so I tried it out. It's a blast! The game got me into the X Men Universe, if only for a little while. It's a dungeon crawler where you get to control 1 of 4 mutants (switching whenever you please) and there's some rpg elements on customizing special powers and equipment. The best part of the game is going through the story in co op mode with a friend. There's also a multiplayer mode, but it's a bit lacking.

13. Super Metroid

I don't know what to say about Super Metroid other than it's an amazing experience. It's non linear formula is one of the reasons that makes it so compelling to explore. The 2D Metroids have also influenced other great series like Castlevania.

12. Metroid Prime

What's this? Another Metroid game on my list? Yeah, it's Metroid Prime! This game deserves praise after the N64 never produced a new Metroid game many thought the series was dead, but Retro Studios decided to bring the series to 3D by making it an fps. Well...it's a bit of a first person shooter, but the preferred term is first person adventure. The surprising thing was...the game turned out great, it was true to Metroid's roots and a great first person experience.

11. Age of Empires

Oh geez. Age of Empires was definitely the first game I was ever addicted to. I couldn't get enough of the game. I mentioned before I loved real time strategy and this was my favorite. Age of Empires II was definitely the best in the series and kept me glued to the computer for hours and hours, whether I was making my own scenarios, or just doing a random one. The cheat codes in AoE are just fantastic.

10. Super Mario Bros.

Here it is. Super Mario Bros. You all know this series. It's Mario, there's probably not a single person who doesn't know Mario. He's that famous! Lol I hope some of you get that joke. Well Super Mario Bros. has been great since the beginning and is still going strong with the DS title New Super Mario Bros.

9. God of War

There was a moment in God of War II where Kratos was smashing some guys head between a door after a long bloody battle where I just thought to myself 'This is God of War. And I love it.' That sounds really stupid and all, but the truth is neither God of War game disappoints in terms of violence, gore, or cinematic. It feels good to watch Kratos slaughter someone and even better to do it yourself. I might have to buy PS3 for God of War III.

8. Resident Evil 4

Resident Evil 4 is another game, like Metroid Prime, that reinvents a series. It turned Resident Evil into more of an action game than survival horror and it kicks a lot of a$$. This is a masterpiece you need to play and I never found a single flaw with it.

7. Paper Mario

I was really skeptical when I first heard about Paper Mario. I thought it looked really lame and kiddy so I passed it up. I later decided to take a chance on the second game The Thousand Year Door and really enjoyed it. I then got Super Paper Mario and Paper Mario on the virtual console. I never thought that Paper Mario would be among my favorite games, but I love all three of them for their brilliant writing and charming ****

6. The Legend of Zelda

The Legend of Zelda is another franchise which needs no comment (but is getting one anyway). I've gotta be honest I've only played recent games in the series like Twilight Princess, Wind Waker, and The Phantom of Hourglass. And a little bit of OoT. But the series has been practically the same for a while and that sounds like a bad thing, but it's really not. The Zelda formula is ****c and the dungeons will either make you feel smart, or stupid, but are always rewarding.

5. Okami

Here's a game you could call a bit of a rip off of Zelda. But the thing is. I actually enjoyed it more than I did Twilight Princess. The game has a Japanese art look to it and the world just looks simply beautiful. The unique gameplay element in Okami is the brush techniques which fit into the look of the game. Wow, I feel like my description is terrible. But really, the fact that I put this ahead of Zelda should give you a hint at how good the game is.

4. Ratchet and Clank

This is another series I don't know why I like so much, but I can't get enough of. I guess I would have to say it has to be the third person shooter gameplay, the humorous writing and stories, and the onslaught of ridiculous yet awesome weapons you get to use. My favorite game in the series is Up Your Arsenal, but they were all a blast to play. (Havn't played Deadlocked, or Size Matters.)

3. Super Mario 64

Wow. Another Mario game. But this one's 3D! Haha yeah I like Mario games. In fact, this is the very game that got me into gaming. That alone should get the game high on the list. Also in this spot I'd like to mention Super Mario Galaxy and Sunshine for also being great. Mostly Galaxy though.

2. Guitar Hero

There was a time about a year ago where I believed Guitar Hero was my favorite game. Knowing how much I enjoy my #1 favorite game, that's saying something. I don't know why it took so long for a good air guitar game like Guitar Hero to come out. But Guitar Hero fits the bill. All the games have great songs and really give you the feeling like you're a rock star. It's funny cuz many choose Guitar Hero over real guitar.

1. Super Smash Bros.

If you know me this is the obvious choice for my number one game. I always play it. It's an amazing party series and the value is....there's a lot of value to be found in this series. Eventually (about 4 years later) I got tired of Melee, but with all the lasting appeal in Brawl I can't see me ever getting tired of it. That's not say I don't want an SSB4. They better make it!

Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby
There were some really hillarious moments in the movie, and the plot was pretty good, but the movie stalls in some areas. It's not Will Ferrel's greatest movie, but it's atleast good and probably in his top 5. Shake and Bake baby!

Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan
The critically acclaimed Borat surprised me more than almost any movie has ever surprised me before. I laughed throughout the entire movie. Everybody did. Try to catch your breath because this Kazakhstan has made the funniest movie ever.

X-Men
Better than the third. But not as good as the second film in the Xmen series. It was a little bit more low key of a movie than the sequels. The character depth was much better though and Magneto was much cooler.

X2: X-Men United
By far the best of the xmen films. More characters than the first, and much more depth than the third. (Also less annoying.) The effects and story were great which is how all movies should be. I'd go so far to say that this movie is much better...

X-Men: The Last Stand
I always wanted them to have Angel in the films. I didn't want them to lose Nightcrawler, and I didn't want it to suck though. The story seems forced through the entire film I was a bit disappointed. See it for the effects.
